Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 16th of Adar Sheni, in which you write about your mood and so forth, and therefore feel unable to do anything regarding the Romanian immigrants.
This is only the case if you look at it as a burden and difficult work. However, if you see the matter in its true light—that it is a joyful thing to be able to help for the good of several among Bnei Yisrael, and that even here it is said "Lo Alecha HaMelachah Ligmor" (it is not upon you to finish the work)—then you can easily do what you are able in this matter, gradually and step by step, from what is easier to what is less easy, in a way that will not overly tire you.
Certainly, your attending doctor will not only agree with this but will also encourage and strengthen you. Moreover, this very work brings actual physical health benefits in addition to all other instructions from the doctor.
And since we are now in the month of Adar when joy increases, and we connect redemption to redemption—from Adar to Nissan—this brings redemption from all things that hinder serving Hashem with joy and gladness of heart. I send blessings for good news in all matters.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that viewing communal responsibilities as opportunities for joy transforms them from burdens into sources of strength and healing. Gradual effort with a positive outlook brings both spiritual and physical benefit, especially during times of increased joy like Adar.
