ת"ח על מכתבו מז' כסלו מבשר טוב מהשיעורים הנלמדים ברבים. וכבר מלתי אמורה לכו"כ מאנ"ש אשר לדעתי נכון ונחוץ להנהיג לימוד הלכות הצריכות בחיי היום יומים נוסף על שאר הלימודים כיון שסו"ס זהו כל האדם את האלקים ירא ואת מצותיו שמור, ובדורנו זה שנתמעטו הלבבות ובמילא נתמעט הזמן המוקדש ללימוד שיעורים, צריך ללמדם בספר שבו דינים הנוגעים למעשה והלכה ברורה ופסוקה, ולהתחיל באותן ההלכות השכיחות ורגילות יותר, ואם באפשרי הרי בהם גופא לדלג הענינים שאינם נוגעים כ"כ, וכשיצליח השי"ת וילמדו בפעם השני' יש ללמוד על הסדר.
בודאי יתועדו בחג הגאולה י"ט כסלו הבע"ל כדבעי, היינו בקבלת החלטות בהנוגע לפועל בשלשת הקוים דתורה עבודה וגמילות חסדים והשי"ת יצליחם.

Thank you for your letter from the 7th of Kislev with good news about the public Torah study sessions being held.
I have already expressed to several from Anash that in my opinion it is proper and necessary to institute the study of practical halachot needed for daily life, in addition to other studies. After all, this is the whole person: 'Et HaElokim Yira V'et Mitzvotav Shmor' (Fear G‑d and keep His commandments). In our generation, when hearts have diminished and thus less time is dedicated to learning sessions, it is necessary to learn from a book that contains laws relevant in practice with clear and decided halachah. One should begin with those halachot that are more frequent and common; if possible, even within these, skip matters that are not so relevant. When Hashem grants success and they learn a second time, then it should be studied in order.
Certainly you will gather properly for the upcoming festival of redemption, Yud-Tes Kislev—that is, by accepting resolutions regarding action in the three lines: Torah, avodah (service), and gemilut chasadim (acts of kindness). May Hashem grant you success.
