Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your letter from the fifth candle: At an auspicious time, all those you wrote about will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, each one for what they need according to your letter's content.

Regarding your comment on Torah Or, Vayeishev 29d (beginning "U'me'atah navo le'va'er")—that an abundance of gifts draws down the Infinite Light (Ohr Ein Sof) below in all subsequent offerings—and you wondered how an increase in offerings relates to drawing down Ohr Ein Sof, before Whom all is as nothing. It is already well known in several places in our holy Torah and generally in a person's service that serving with "all your heart and soul" is not enough; it must be specifically "with all your might." Otherwise it is called "not doing the will of the Omnipresent" (Berachos 35b), because only a person's utmost draws down a higher state above. As explained elsewhere, this is G‑d's attribute—measure for measure with a person. Similarly here: when one increases and adds in matters of a person, there is increased drawing down from above beyond the usual manner.

As for your question about what advantage there is generally in the Nesi'im's offerings being called "abundant gifts," this is explained in the aforementioned discourse regarding the silver bowls, bulls, rams, and goats. See also Likkutei Torah by the Alter Rebbe at the end of Parshas Naso for further details about the abundance of gifts from the Nesi'im.

Blessings for good news.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that giving beyond one's norm draws down greater Divine blessings. Our extra efforts elicit a corresponding increase from Above—true service means offering our utmost to G‑d.
