In response to your letter from the fifth candle.

Regarding what you wrote about the haratz harach and harag etc. Reb Shmaryahu Noach Schneersohn from Bobruisk: What I know is that his name was as above; he was a grandson of the tzt"z; his yahrzeit is on the 15th of Teves 5683 (1923), and he is buried in Bobruisk. His grandchildren, may they live and be well, currently reside in Eretz HaKodesh in Tel Aviv. They are preparing to publish responsa from him as well as discourses on Chassidus.

Regarding what you wrote about the haratz harach and harag etc. Reb Shlomo Zalman from Kapost: See in the book Beis Rebbe volume III at the end of chapter 8 [the author personally knew him], where it says: "He bore the holy name of our master the Alter Rebbe (meaning the Baal HaTanya) and of his grandfather Harach Reb Shlomo Freides z"l; in most places he signed only one name—Shlomo Zalman or Sh. Zalman; in one place we saw his signature as 'Shlomo Sh. Zalman.'" His passing was on the 27th of Iyar 5660 (1900), and he is buried in Kapost. His only son Havavac"h iy"a nu"n Moshe Yehuda Leib did not serve as a rabbi at all; his livelihood was through business.

Separately I am sending you a copy of "Hayom Yom," which at its beginning prints the genealogy chain of those mentioned above—the family of Admor Baal HaTanya in general.
