Shalom u'Vrachah!
Before my trip to the holy Ohel, I received your phone message as well as the names, and I mentioned them yesterday on Erev Rosh Chodesh Teves at the holy Ohel of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal l'havdil bein chayim l'chayim nishmaso Eden.
Regarding the month of Teves, our Sages taught that in it "the body benefits from the body." It is understood from their teachings: Achashverosh refers to the Holy One Blessed Be He—His end and beginning are His (as brought in Me'orei Or and in the commentary of the Rama on Megillas Esther)—and Esther is Knesses Yisrael; so too every individual Jew. The essence and being of Ein Sof Baruch Hu derives pleasure from the essence and innerness of every Jew. This is specifically in Teves, which is associated with kelipah (the side of unholiness), as explained in Zohar II 12a; Zohar III 259a; Zohar Chadash Eichah (92d). Through their service, Jews transform darkness into light and bitterness into sweetness—this is the ultimate purpose of all creation, as explained in Tanya chapter 36: that G‑d desired to create it.
May it be His will that all blessings with which Jews bless one another be fulfilled completely and in an ever-increasing manner—as is taught by these days of Chanukah: increasing more and more until it becomes very great.
Blessings for a joyous Chanukah and for good news.
Regarding what you wrote about Moshe and Aharon—who is Netzach and who is Hod—see Etz Chaim Shaar Lamed-Beis (illumination of intellects) at its end; also see Zohar II 27a with notes from Mahari Chaviv there.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that during Chanukah and Teves we have special power to transform darkness into light through our service. This fulfills G‑d's deepest desire for creation. He encourages us to increase in blessings and joy like the growing lights of Chanukah.
