Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your letter. The opinion of my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, is that you should continue your efforts to inspire public awareness regarding the greatness of the mitzvah of tzitzis and the care that must be taken with it.

Regarding your comment on what is written at the end of Iggeres HaTeshuvah: "with the letters yud... hei... vav... hei," that such a name does not appear among the four names Ayin-Beis, Samech-Gimel, Mem-Hei, Beis-Nun—see at the end of Mekadesh Melech on Zohar Vol. I where a name Nun-Daled is brought, which is in this spelling (yud-hei-vav-hei) with a gematria of 54.

As for why this name is mentioned here, perhaps it can be explained because it discusses blemishes in the mitzvos of Krias Shema, tefillin, tzitzis, and prayer—where tzitzis corresponds to the letter vav. It is known that tzitzis are like hairs (see Menachos 42a), meaning yuds (the source of each strand) and vavs (the thread itself). See Torah Or by our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe on Parshas Vayeitzei for an explanation on "V'shavti b'Shalom," and in Likkutei Torah on "Vayikach Korach."

Even in Shem Ayin-Beis (the Divine Name), there is this same spelling with vav; nevertheless, Iggeres HaTeshuvah does not mention Shem Ayin-Beis—meaning that even the hei would be filled with yud: hei-yud. Perhaps this is because Shem Ayin-Beis is generally above any blemish. This can be understood based on what is written in Kuntres Limud HaChassidus by my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, chapter 3.

May Hashem soon transform these days into joy and gladness, and may it be fulfilled as promised: "And they shall take hold of the corner of a Jewish man's garment—all who are careful with tzitzis will merit..." (Shabbos 32b).

With wishes for all good things.

Summary

The Rebbe encourages continued outreach about tzitzis and provides deep insights into Kabbalistic names related to mitzvos. He connects these teachings to spiritual refinement and ends with blessings for redemption and joy.
