Shalom u'Vrachah!
I hereby acknowledge receipt of your pan along with its attachment. At an auspicious time, it will be read at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory.
May it be G‑d's will that since we are now in the month of Teves—about which our Sages say that "the body benefits from the body"—and as discussed at the farbrengen (which I believe you attended), based on our Sages: Achashverosh refers to the Holy One Blessed Be He, whose end and beginning are His, and Esther refers to Knesses Yisrael—the Jewish people in every generation—so may it be fulfilled in actuality that His Essence and Being will derive pleasure, so to speak, from the body and its matters of every single Jew literally. See also the talk of my revered grandfather, the Rebbe Rashab, in Toras Shalom (Simchas Torah 5669), page 108 and onward, regarding "the Essence must have to do with the body," all of which further adds to Rambam's ruling that maintaining a healthy and whole body is part of serving Hashem.
It can also be said that this is related to "Vayigash eilav Yehudah" (Yehudah approached him—not his attributes), as explained in Torah Or discourses on this verse: the advantage of the inanimate (domeim), action, and body.
Blessings for good news regarding your bodily health and spiritual health for you and each member of your household.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that serving G‑d involves both body and soul. The month of Teves highlights how physical well-being is integral to Divine service. By caring for our bodies as well as our souls, we fulfill G‑d's will completely.
