וכיון שנמצאים אנו בימי חנוכה, אשר הלכה כב"ה דמוסיף והולך מיום ליום בנר ואור, והנס הי' בכהנים, והנרות אינם בטלים לעולם, הנה כן יבש"ט ויוסיף, הלוך והוסיף בנר מצוה תורה אור ובמאור שבתורה, שהרי הנס הי' בשמן רזי דרזין דאורייתא, ובכל המצטרך לנר ה' נשמת אדם.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Monday with its enclosure, and as you requested, I am attaching the receipt from the event.
Since we are now in the days of Chanukah, when according to Beit Hillel we increase each day in candles and light, and the miracle occurred with Kohanim, and the candles are never nullified, so too may you continue to increase—going from strength to strength—in the candle of mitzvah, Torah light, and in the luminary within Torah. After all, the miracle was with oil—razin d'razin d'Oraita (the secrets of secrets of Torah)—and in all that is needed for 'the candle of G‑d is the soul of man.'
