ובעת רצון יזכירו אותו וכן ב"ב שיחיו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע כאו"א להמצטרך לו מתאים לתוכן כתבו.
זה מזמן העירותי שימת לבבו של חותנו שליט"א כשכתב לי אודות מצב בריאותו, אשר מהנכון וטוב במאד מאד אשר יקבע לימוד במאור שבתורה זוהי פנימיות התורה שבדורנו נתגלתה בתורת החסידות, ביום הש"ק אשר קדש הוא לה' וכן איזה פעמים בשבוע, ומה טוב בכל יום, והרי מבואר בכ"מ איך שמוכרח לימוד זה ובפרט בתקופתנו זו, ונוסף על עיקר זה הנה בנוגע לכת"ר בפרט, הנה הלימוד במאור שבתורה מוסיפה (במדתו של הקב"ה שהיא מכ"מ וכ"פ ככה) במאור עיניו של אדם.
ויהי רצון שלא רק יקבע עתים בהנ"ל אלא שגם יוסיף בהם כהציווי דמעלין בקדש, והרי זוהי מצות וענין חנוכה, שהנס הי' בשמן, רזי דרזין דאורייתא*, מוסיף והולך עד כי גדל מאד.
בברכה לבריאות ולבשו"ט בכל האמור.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the first of Vayishlach, which has been received, in which you write about your health situation and the results of treatment. At an auspicious time, you and your family will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), each one for what they need according to your letter's content.
Some time ago I drew your father-in-law's attention (may he live and be well) when he wrote to me about your health situation, that it is very proper and extremely good for you to establish a study session in the "luminary within Torah"—this is the inner dimension of Torah revealed in our generation as Chassidus—on Shabbat, which is sanctified to Hashem, as well as several times a week; even better if daily. It is explained in many places how essential this study is, especially in our times. Additionally, regarding you specifically: studying the "luminary within Torah" increases (in G‑d's measure—which is always abundant) a person's "luminary of his eyes."
May it be G‑d's will that not only will you establish these set times but also increase them as per the instruction to always ascend in holiness. This is also the mitzvah and theme of Chanukah—the miracle was with oil (the secrets within secrets of Torah), ever increasing until it becomes very great.
