Moshe HaKohen

משה הכהן

This tag collects letters to a correspondent (or correspondents) identified in the published Igros Kodesh only as "Moshe HaKohen," from about 5712 to 5728 (1952–1968). It may include more than one person.

What the letters show

Teaching and inspiration. Explaining spiritual concepts in relatable terms helps others connect to them (IK 1427). As Elul begins, every part of life should be infused with holiness (IK 5691), and on Chanukah one should keep adding light (IK 6616).

Other matters. On naming a synagogue, see IK 4350; on distinctions in Talmudic reasoning between Chagigah and the Pesach offering, see IK 9823. The Rebbe also mentioned him at the Ohel, as he had requested (IK 8641, 8783).
