Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 3rd of Kislev, in which you outline the main points of your life’s arrangements. It is clear and simple that what you write about being unable to participate in a class or study holy books is not correct at all. It is well known from the Mishnah that one who fulfills Torah under pressure will ultimately fulfill it with ease. Since this is required of you, surely you have the ability to meet this demand, for the Holy One does not make unreasonable demands of His creations.
Nevertheless, in addition to the above, it would be proper for you to memorize some chapters of Mishnayos and at least one chapter from Sefer Tanya Kadisha. On your way to your place of livelihood and upon returning, fill your time with Torah by reciting these chapters by heart or at least reviewing them in your thoughts.
It is also proper that every weekday before the morning prayer you set aside a small coin for charity; this too is a segulah for expanding sustenance in a literal sense. Also, keep the custom of reciting the daily portion of Tehillim as divided for the days of the month after morning prayers each day.
I hope you will participate in the Anash gathering during Kislev—the month of miracles and redemption—and especially on the bright day of Yud Tes Kislev, Rosh Hashanah for Chassidus and its ways.
Blessings for good news in all mentioned above.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that even when circumstances are difficult, one can always find ways to engage with Torah through memorization and thought. Consistent acts like giving charity and reciting Tehillim help bring both spiritual growth and material blessing.
