I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 19th of Adar Sheni and its predecessor with the enclosures.

I pray that the will of Hashem will succeed through your hands to establish and expand the yeshiva, both in quantity (number of students) and in quality (level of study). At all times and in every place we are commanded regarding Torah study with awe of Heaven, and (great is) study that leads to action — learning in order to learn and to teach, to observe, to do, and to fulfill, etc. All the more so in our generation, Ikveta d'Meshicha, when darkness is doubled and redoubled; this increases even more the necessity for "a mitzvah is a lamp and Torah is light," and the luminary within Torah — which is the inner dimension of Torah. Even though we are in our holy land — a land which Hashem your G‑d's eyes are upon from the beginning of the year until year's end — our Sages have promised: "To each camel according to its load." The Giver of Torah and Commander of mitzvot watches over each individual with Divine Providence, granting ability, strength, and opportunity to fulfill His command — not only that but also with joy and gladness of heart, as our Sages say (and as ruled in halacha; Shabbat 30b).

May it be His will that, as at the beginning of that Tosefta there, the Shechinah should rest upon their handiwork out of joy for this mitzvah. May Hashem's blessing and success increase in all matters concerning this yeshiva. This will also serve as a channel and vessel for Hashem's blessing and success in all matters — even personal ones — for the students, teachers (ramim), heads (roshei yeshiva), administration, supporters of Torah (tomchin d'Oraysa), they and their households.
