לקראת חג המצות, זמן חירותנו, הבא עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לכל אחד ואחת מהם ברכת חג כשר ושמח, זמן חירותנו, חירות אמתית,
ואשר ימשיכו מחירות ושמחה זו בכל עניניהם, הפרטים והכללים, בימי כל השנה כולה - שנת שבתון שבת לה',
- משבית מזיקין, תשביתו שאור, כי אם שובה ונחת, עונג ומנוחה, התגלות תענוג העליון.
ובמהרה בימינו ממש, נזכה לקיום דברי רז"ל ויעודם: החדש הזה לכם... הגוי אשר ה' אלקיו... בו נגאלו ישראל ממצרים ובו עתידין ליגאל, בגאולה האמתית והשלי מה על ידי
עלית הפורץ - משיח צדקנו - לפניהם, מלכם מוציאם ממצרים וגבולים, פורץ ימה וקדמה וצפונה ונגבה.
בברכת חג הפסח כשר ושמח מתוך הרחבה אמתית ולקיץ בריא ושמח.
שלחתי מצה שמורה, ובקשתי אשר ועד הכללי של כפר חב"ד וועד הרוחני - והרה"ג הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"מ כו' הרש"ז שי' מרא דאתרא בראשם - יחלקון לתושבי כפר חב"ד וליחידי עסקני חב"ד אשר באה"ק ת"ו - שליט"א.

To each and every one in Kfar Chabad—founded and led by the Rebbe Rayatz zatzal—may Hashem be upon them for endless peace and blessing!
As we approach Pesach, the Festival of Matzot, our season of freedom, which is coming upon us and all Israel for good, I hereby express my blessing to each and every one: a kosher and joyous Pesach, a time of true freedom. May you continue this freedom and joy in all your matters—both personal and communal—throughout the entire year—a year of Shabbaton, a Sabbath to Hashem—one that nullifies harm; "you shall remove leaven," only return and tranquility, delight and rest, a revelation of supreme pleasure.
And speedily in our days may we merit the fulfillment of our Sages' words and their promise: "HaChodesh HaZeh Lachem... HaGoy Asher Hashem Elokav..." ("This month shall be for you... The nation whose G‑d is Hashem...") In this month Israel was redeemed from Egypt and in it they will be redeemed in the true and complete redemption through the ascent of the 'Poretz'—Moshiach Tzidkeinu—ahead of them; their king leading them out from Egypt and boundaries; breaking through westward, eastward, northward, and southward.
With blessings for a kosher and joyous Pesach celebrated with true expansiveness—and for a healthy and happy summer.
I have sent shmurah matzah, requesting that the general committee of Kfar Chabad and its spiritual committee—with Harav Hagaon Harav Hachasid Havavac"h Iy"a Nu"m etc. Harav Shneur Zalman shlit"a Mara D'Atra at their head—distribute it to residents of Kfar Chabad as well as to select Chabad activists in Eretz HaKodesh—may they live long. May it be G‑d's will that it accomplish its effect—the effect of "the bread of faith" and "the bread of healing" in full measure.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that Pesach is not only about physical freedom but also spiritual liberation. By embracing true joy and unity during this season—and sharing its blessings with others—we draw down G‑d's infinite kindness throughout the entire year.
