בנועם וענג קראתי מכתבו מכ"ב מנ"א, בו כותב עכ"פ ראשי פרקים מישיבה הק' קרית גת סניף לישיבה הק' תומכי תמימים דלוד, מהתקדמות התלמידים שליט"א בלימודיהם וכו' וכן אשר יתחילו גם בתפלה בדירת הישיבה.
וכבר ידוע גודל המעלה בזה ע"פ מרז"ל עה"פ אוהב ה' שערי ציון מכל משכנות יעקב.
ויהי רצון אשר יבשר טוב בהאמור ובאופן דמוסיף והולך מוסיף ואור מתאים לדרישת וגם הכרח השעה ובודאי שנותן התורה הנגלה והפנימית יוסיף בברכתו והצלחתו לכל אלו המשתדלים בביסוס והרחבת הישיבה הק' האמורה, שיוכלו עוד להוסיף בזה מתוך מנוחה ושמחה וטוב לבב.
ובעת רצון אזכירו ואת ב"ב שיחיו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע מתאים לתוכן כתבו, ובודאי שבעל הציון יעורר ר"ר על זה, שהרי זוהי היתה עבודתו בקדש בחיים חיותו בעלמא דין יסוד ישיבות ביראת שמים וחינוך על טהרת הקדש בכל מקום שידו מגעת.
ויהי רצון שכיון שמתקרבים אנו לחדש אלול הוא חדש הרחמים, וכמבואר בלקו"ת שאז מאירים י"ג מדות הרחמים, הנה יומשך זה בטוב הנראה והנגלה בענינים הכללים ובענינים הפרטים.

With pleasure and delight I read your letter from the 22nd of Menachem Av, in which you write at least the main points from the holy yeshiva in Kiryat Gat, a branch of the holy yeshiva Tomchei Temimim in Lod, about the progress of the students, may they live and be well, in their studies, etc., as well as that they will begin praying in the yeshiva's residence. The great virtue of this is already known according to our sages on the verse 'Ohev Hashem Shaarei Tzion Mikol Mishkenot Yaakov' ("The L‑rd loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob").
May it be G‑d's will that you bring good news regarding all this, and in a manner that continually increases—adding light—fitting both the demand and necessity of the time. Surely He Who gave both revealed and inner Torah will increase His blessing and success to all those who strive to establish and expand this aforementioned holy yeshiva, so that you can add even more with tranquility, joy, and gladness of heart.
At an auspicious time I will mention you and your family at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), in accordance with your letter's content. Certainly, the one interred there will arouse abundant mercy regarding this matter—for this was his sacred work during his lifetime: founding yeshivas based on fear of Heaven and education in purity wherever he could reach.
May it be G‑d's will that as we approach Elul—the month of mercy—as explained in Likkutei Torah that then shine forth the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy—this should be drawn down as visible and revealed good both in general matters and personal matters.
Blessings for only good news regarding all that was mentioned above.
