I acknowledge receipt of your letter and pan (pidyon nefesh), and at an auspicious time it will be read at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal lehe nbagm zya, for all that you and your family need.

The merit of your involvement in your work—work of Heaven—education in purity and holiness, which brings the hearts of the Jewish people closer to our Father in Heaven, will stand by you in all the above. As our holy Torah—the Torah of Life—commands us to always ascend in holiness, surely you will add strength in this. This is also demanded and necessary at this time—the footsteps of Mashiach—when there is a doubled and redoubled darkness of exile. This requires increasing light and holiness many times over, expressed through the actions of every Jew in general, and especially those who have been gifted with educational talent to draw close the hearts of their students—through Ahavas Yisrael (love for fellow Jews), love of Torah, and love of Hashem. As is known from the saying of our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe: they are one—the Holy One Blessed be He, His Torah, and His mitzvos. The greater the love—as Torah instructs us that its ways are pleasantness and its paths are peace—then just as water reflects a face to a face from one person to another, so too will be revealed the hidden love that we have inherited from our ancestors, as explained in Sefer Tanya Kadisha.
