ולפלא שאינו מזכיר ע"ד ביקורים במקומות שונים שנהג בהם בחדשי הקיץ, ואפשר יש לזה מקום עתה ביותר וביותר ולבארם שמתכונן לנסוע לכאן ויבקר על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל וכו' וכו', והרי לבם של ישראל ער הוא, אפילו אצל אלו שישנים בגלותא (באיזה מדריגה של שינה שתהי'*, שהרי לא חילק הכתוב בזה, וק"ל). ויהי רצון שגם בזה יבשר טוב אמיתי, טוב לשמים וטוב לבריות וטוב העושה פירות וכסוגיא קדושין (דקוב"ה וישראל, שהם חו"כ וחתונתם זה מ"ת - שניתנה (ל)מ' (יום) עמוד אחד (עיין הוספות לתו"א סוף פ' יתרו דמ"ת דוקא יום א' ולא כשאר המועדים)).

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 7th of Cheshvan, in which you write that you received the papers as well as a partial report of your activities.
It is surprising that you do not mention anything about visiting various places as you did during the summer months. Perhaps now there is even more reason to do so and to explain that you are preparing to travel here and will visit the holy resting place (the tziyun) of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—Nasi Yisrael—of blessed memory. The hearts of Israel are awake, even among those who are 'asleep in exile' (in whatever level of sleep it may be—for Scripture does not differentiate in this regard; this is clear).
May it be G‑d's will that you will also share truly good news in this area—good for Heaven and good for people, good that produces fruit—as discussed in the tractate Kiddushin (regarding the Holy One Blessed Be He and Israel: they are groom and bride, and their wedding is at Matan Torah—which was given on one day [see additions to Torah Or at the end of Parshas Yisro: Matan Torah was specifically on one day and not like other festivals]).
