We hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the eighth of Tishrei and its predecessor, and here is copied the text of the telegram that the Admor shlita graciously agreed to send you:

To the honored participants in Hakafos of Simchas Torah in Jerusalem, our holy and glorious city, may it be rebuilt and established by our righteous Moshiach, among all our brothers, the Jewish people who rejoice in Simchas Torah wherever they are—shlita. At this time when double joy—the joy of Israel with the Torah and the joy of the Torah with Israel—encompasses and unites our entire nation, both those who are presently near and far, there is special intensity and content to this joy in complete Jerusalem, the eternal capital of our eternal people as stated in our eternal Torah. May it be G‑d's will that Jerusalem fulfill its destiny: that from her shall go forth the Torah of Hashem and His word; and all nations of the earth will see that Hashem's Name is called upon her and upon our people—a single nation in the land. And very soon we will merit to see fulfillment of the promise: 'Elokim will save Zion and build the cities of Yehudah; they shall dwell there and possess it; his servants' seed shall inherit it; those who love His Name shall dwell therein,' with our true and complete redemption through our righteous Moshiach.
