ובודאי ידוע לו מפסק הדין (מובא בשו"ע לאדה"ז ובשו"ת הצ"צ) ששו"ב צ"ל ירא שמים ביותר וביותר וישתדל ככל יכולתו למלאות הדרישה האמורה, והרי הבא לטהר מסייעין אותו.
ויהי רצון שיהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת, ומענין לענין באותו ענין, שיוסיף אומץ בלימוד תורה ברבים, שבודאי בזה גם ישנו לימוד תורת החסידות ועניני' ברבים הפצת המעינות אשר גם זה יהי' בהצלחה ובהוספה מזמן לזמן כהציוי לעלות בקדש,
והרי יומא דא, בו נכתב המענה, הוא יום הילולא של רבנו הזקן, וידוע המשל שאמר בנוגע להפצת המעינות, מאבן טובה שבכתר המלך, שזה מלמדנו שעוד יותר גדולה האחריות בהענין לנצל האבן טוב שבכתר המלך, לאחר שהמלך כבר נתנו לרשות בנ"י, וק"ל. ויהי רצון שיהיו דבריו יוצאים מן הלב ובמילא יכנסו אל לב השומע.

In response to your letter from the 18th of Teves, in which you inform me that you have received a position as a poultry shochet. Surely you are aware of the halachic ruling (brought in Shulchan Aruch of Admor HaZaken and in the responsa of tzt"z) that a shochet must be exceedingly G‑d-fearing and must strive with all his ability to fulfill this requirement. As is known: "He who comes to purify is assisted."
May it be G‑d's will that this should be at an auspicious and successful time. On a related note, you should strengthen your efforts in public Torah study—which certainly includes also the public study of Chassidus and its concepts—and in spreading the wellsprings. May this too be with success and increasing growth over time as per the directive to ascend in holiness.
The day this response is written is the yahrzeit of Rabbeinu HaZaken (the Alter Rebbe), and it is known—the parable he gave regarding spreading the wellsprings—about the precious stone in the king's crown. This teaches us that there is even greater responsibility in utilizing this precious stone from the king's crown after the king has already given it into the hands of Bnei Yisrael. And this suffices.
May it be G‑d's will that your words come from the heart and thereby enter into the heart of those who hear them.
