"מרכז הישיבות תומכי תמימים-ליובאוויטש", אשר עבודתו והתפתחותו בארצות הברית התחילה על ידי כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ובפקודתו - תיכף להתישבותו באמריקה בשנת ה'ש"ת, הנה
ת"ל, ובזכות הוד כ"ק אבותינו נשיאנו הק' זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, עשה פרי בהצלחה אלקית מופלגה, וכהיום הרי הרבה מאות תלמידים - כן ירבו - מישיבות אלו מכהנים פאר בתור רבנים, ראשי מתיבתות וראשי ישיבות, שובי"ם ושאר משרות קודש בקהלות חשובות בישראל. גם אלו מהתלמידים ומחונכי ישיבות תומכי-תמימים המתפרנסים באופן אחר - הנה על משמרתם במשמרת הקודש הם עומדים, לעבוד, כל אחד לפי מעמדו, ומצבו, בשדה הרבצת תורה ויראת שמים ולקחת חלק בראש בהעסקנות של חיזוק היהדות בכל מושבותיהם.
יחד הם הגדלת והפרחת המוסד גדלו ג"כ ההוצאות הכרוכות בכלכלתו לכל סעיפיו, עד כי בעת האחרונה נתרבו החובות ועלו למעלה ראש ומזעזעים את קיומו של המוסד ומכבידים במאד את הנהלתו והתפתחותו
עזרה ממשית נחוצה בהקדם האפשרי.
והנני פונה בזה לכל חובבי ומוקירי תורה ומצוה בבקשה ודרישה כפולה וכופלת לבוא לעזרת מרכז הישיבות תומכי תמימים - ליובאוויטש, ולתרום תרומת הקדש בלב נדיב וביד פתוחה, ולהשפיע גם על ידידיהם ומכיריהם בכיוון זה, בכדי להקל, על כל פנים במדה ידועה, את עול החובות ולתת את האפשריות לנהל עבודת המוסד להבא, בעזה"י.
ומובטחים אנו מחז"ל אשר גדולה זכות החזקת לומדי תורת חיים, דברי אלקים חיים, מקור חיים - להגן על כל העושים והמעשים ושיתברכו בכל מילי דמיטב, בבני חיי ומזוני רוויחי.
באיחול ובברכה אשר בעגלא דידן נזכה כולנו לראות בהרמת קרן התורה וקרן ישראל סבא ומלאה הארץ דעה את הוי'.

To the entire congregation of Yeshurun, lovers and supporters of Torah and mitzvah, wherever they may be—may Hashem be upon them for life—greetings and blessings!
The "Merkaz HaYeshivos Tomchei Temimim-Lubavitch," whose work and development in the United States began through my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his memory be a blessing for the life of the World to Come), and at his directive—immediately upon his arrival in America in 5700—has, thank G‑d and in the merit of our holy ancestors, our leaders zatzal (may their memory be a blessing for the life of the World to Come), borne fruit with extraordinary Divine success. Today, hundreds of students from these yeshivos—may they multiply—serve with distinction as rabbis, heads of yeshivos and mesivtas, shochtim, and other sacred positions in important Jewish communities.
Even those students and alumni of Tomchei Temimim who earn their livelihood otherwise remain steadfast at their sacred post: each one according to his standing and situation works to spread Torah and fear of Heaven and takes a leading role in strengthening Judaism throughout their communities.
Alongside the institution's growth and flourishing have come increased expenses required for its maintenance across all its branches. Recently, debts have multiplied alarmingly, threatening the institution's existence and greatly burdening its management and development. Immediate practical assistance is urgently needed.
I therefore turn to all lovers and supporters of Torah and mitzvah with a repeated plea: come to the aid of Merkaz HaYeshivos Tomchei Temimim-Lubavitch. Contribute generously with an open hand, influence your friends and acquaintances likewise—to help lighten at least somewhat the burden of debt and enable ongoing operation of this institution with G‑d's help.
Our Sages assure us that supporting those who study Toras Chaim (the living Torah), words of the living G‑d—the source of life—is a great merit that protects all who participate in this cause. May they be blessed with all good things: children, life, and abundant sustenance.
With wishes and blessings that speedily in our days we should all merit to see the exaltation of Torah’s glory and that of Israel Saba; may the earth be filled with knowledge of Hashem.
