מסרו לי, אשר דואג הוא על אי קבלת מכתבים מבנו שי', אבל תקותי שמכאן ולהבא יסודר זה,
בודאי כמנהגו הטוב יודיע בפרטיות ע"ד התועדיות דחדש כסלו הוא חדש הגאולה - כן מאלו אשר נוכח בעצמו, וגם במקומות אלו הידועם לו מפי אלו שהשתתפו שם.
אצטער ואדאג במאד, להעדר הסתדרות המתאימה בהישיבה דתל אביב, למרות השקו"ט והחליפות מכתבים שהיו מהכא להתם ומהתם להכא. ואיני יודע באיזה אמצעים לאחוז בכדי שמוסד כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר יהי' מתאים לרצונו, היינו שכל המשתתפים בו והם - ההנלה, הר"מ והר"י, התלמידים - יבינו שהם שלוחים מהמייסד, להאיר חלקם בעולם ע"י מוסד זה. והאריכות אך למותר.
בברכה לבריאת הנכונה ולרוב נחת חסידותי מכל יו"ח - ביחד עם זוגתו שיחיו.

Thank you very much for your gift—notes and memories from the summer gathering before Rosh HaShanah. Surely, if you recall more details from that gathering in general and regarding my father in particular, you will include them in your future letters. Please also continue recording memories from other times as well; thank you in advance.
I was told that you are concerned about not receiving letters from your son. However, I hope that from now on this will be resolved. Certainly, as is your good custom, you will inform me in detail about the farbrengens of the month of Kislev—which is the month of redemption—both those you attended yourself and those you heard about from others who participated.
I am very pained and worried by the lack of proper organization at the Tel Aviv yeshiva, despite all the discussions and correspondence that have gone back and forth. I do not know what means to take so that the institution of my revered father-in-law should be as he wishes—that is, that all participants (the administration, teachers, heads of yeshiva, students) should understand they are emissaries of its founder to illuminate their portion of the world through this institution. There is no need to elaborate further.

Now I have received your letters from the 16th and 20th of Kislev with the pan (petition), which I will read at the holy resting place. Thank you for your note—even if brief—about Yom Kippur. It is worthwhile to calmly look for an easier position for him.
