בנועם קבלתי מכתב כתוב עבורו ע"י הוו"ח נו"נ רב פעלים בעל מדות ובעל מרץ כו' מר א. שי' בן נון, ותוכנו.
דרצונו הטוב למסור קרקעות לרשות חב"ד, לתכלית הקמת בתי ספר למלאכה ושיכונים לעובדים חניכים-ות. ורצון טוב זה - הרי מוכיח אשר אינו דרוש לאריכות בגודל ענין חינוך מתאים של הדור הצעיר באה"ק ת"ו, חינוך ברוח חב"די המיוסד, במסגרת כללות תורת החסידות, על הסיסמה אשר אהבת השם, אהבת התורה ואהבת ישראל חד הן.
בודאי יכתבו פרטים נוספים בהנוגע לשטח האמור והתאמת הסביבה - להקמת ביסל"מ מסוג מיוחד, או שאין נפקא מינה בזה. כוונתי - שכמה מבתי ספר למלאכה דורשים שטחים נוספים סביבת הבנין, בכדי שיוכלו למלאות תפקידם ככל הדרוש. וכן שאר פרטים הנוגעים בגוף הענין.
ובמיוחד ובפרט עפ"י סעיף ג' אשר במכתבו האמור, אשר מוכנים למסור חלק קרקע להקמת המוסדות עתה, הרי זה מגדיל הכרח ידיעות פרטיות אלו. וכל פירוט יותר בכגון אלו חשוב יותר.
ויהי רצון אשר זכות ענין הכי נעלה הזה, יעמוד לו לכל המצטרך לו בכלל, ובפרט לאריכות ימים ושנים טובות, ובסגנון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע: טובות עם כל הפירושים.
שמעתי מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר כמה פעמים, אשר מפגישת שנים מבני ישראל באה עי"ז טובה גם לעוד מבנ"י, נוסף על טובתם הם.
ועפי"ז מרשה הנני לעצמי לעוררו על הוספה בעניני תורה ומצות גם בחייו הפרטים. והרי בעניני טוב וקדושה, אשר אין סופיים הם, ככל שיהי' המצב טוב - תמיד אפשר להוסיף, שהרי ענין אין סופי אי אפשר לאדם להגיע עד תכליתו, ואם בחו"ל ככל הדברים האלה, עא"כ וכמה נכונים הם בארץ אשר גם בפי כל יושבי תבל נקראת - ארץ הקדושה.
ומצוה גוררת מצוה, אשר רצונו הטוב האמור, בהנוגע לקרקע שלו יגרור גם הוספה בהנוגע לעניניו הנפשיים, עניני התורה תורת חיים, ומצותי' עליהם נאמר וחי בהם.
בכבוד ובברכה אשר יצליח בכל עניניו, ומהם - למילוי משאלות לבבו לטובה מתוך בריאות הנכונה ולאריכות ימים ושנים טובות.

I was pleased to receive a letter written on your behalf by the vavac"h nu"n rab pealim baal middos u'baal meretz etc. Mr. A., may he live, Ben Nun, and its content.
Your good desire to transfer land to Chabad for the purpose of establishing vocational schools and housing for workers and trainees is clear. This good will demonstrates that there is no need to elaborate on the greatness of proper education for the younger generation in Eretz HaKodesh, education in the Chabad spirit founded on the general teachings of Chassidus and based on the slogan that love of Hashem, love of Torah, and love of Israel are one.
Surely more details will be written regarding the mentioned area and whether the environment is suitable—for establishing a special type of vocational school or if it makes no difference. My intention is that several vocational schools require additional space around the building so they can fulfill their function as needed. Likewise, other relevant details should be addressed.
Especially according to section three in your aforementioned letter, stating readiness to transfer part of the land for establishing institutions now—this increases the necessity for such specific information. The more detailed such matters are, the more important it becomes.
May it be G‑d's will that the merit of this most lofty matter stand by you for all your needs in general—and especially for long life and good years—in the language of my revered father-in-law, Admor zatzal: "goodness with all its interpretations."
I heard several times from my revered father-in-law that when two Jews meet, it brings about goodness even for other Jews beyond themselves. Based on this I allow myself to encourage you to increase Torah and mitzvah observance also in your personal life.
In matters of goodness and holiness—which are infinite—no matter how good one's situation is, there is always room to add more; since an infinite matter cannot be fully attained by a person. And if this applies outside Eretz Yisrael as above, how much more so does it apply in Eretz Yisrael itself—which even all inhabitants of the world call "the holy land."
One mitzvah brings another mitzvah; thus your aforementioned good will regarding your land will also bring an increase concerning your spiritual matters—the matters of Torah (the Torah of life) and its mitzvos about which it is said: "and you shall live by them."
With honor and blessing that you succeed in all your affairs—including fulfillment of your heart's wishes for good with proper health and long life.
