צו דער געלעגנהייט פון אייער יערלעכן דינער-אונטערנעמונג וואס דארף פארקומען אי"ה דאנערשטאג, כ"א אדר, באגריס איך אלע טשערלייט, עסקנים און געסט ווי אויך אלע פריינד פון דער ישיבה תומכי-תמימים ליובאוויטש - שליט"א.
מיר שטייען ערשט א וואך נאך פורים, און בא יעדן דארף נאך זיין פריש אין זכרון דאס וואס ער האט פון פורים געלערנט, און דאס דארף האבן א ווירקונג אויף דעם טאג-טעגליכן לעבן פון פרט און פון כלל.
איינע פון די וואונדערבארע ערציילונגען פון דעם מסירת-נפש פון די אידן אין דער צייט פון מרדכי און אסתר, איז אז ניט קוקענדיק אויף שווערע איבערלעבונגען פון דער שרעקלעכער גזירה, האט מרדכי דאן צונויפגעקליבן צוויי און צוואנציק טויזנט אידיש קינדערלאך און האט מיט זיי געלערנט תורה. און בזכות דעם האט דער אויבערשטער געהאלפן אז דאס גאנצער אידישער פאלק איז געראטעוועט געווארען.
די מגילת אסתר, ווי די גאנצע תורה, איז אויף אייביק. וואס עס ווערט דארטן דערציילט האט א באדייטונג אין אלע ערטער און אין אלע צייטן.
דערפאר דארפן די טעג ספעציעל דערמאנען יעדן איינעם און יעדער איינער פון אונז, אויף ווי ווייט מען מוז זיך איבערגעבען מיט אלע כחות אויף געבן די מעגליכקייט צו אלע אידישע קינדער, זיי זאלן קאנען לערנען תורה על טהרת הקודש און ערצויגן צו ווערן צו קיום המצוות מיט מסירת נפש.
איך האף אז אלע אנוועזענדע אויף דעם דינער וועלען ארויסווייזן זייער גרויסן באוואוסטזיין פאר זייער הייליקער אויפגאבע, און וועלן מיט דער גרעסטער ברייטהארציקייט שטיצן די ישיבה תומכי-תמימים ליובאוויטש אין מאנטרעאל, שטארקנדיק דורכדעם ממילא דעם קיום פון אידישן קיבוץ שיחיו אין מאנטרעאל בפרט און אין דער גאנצער וועלט בכלל.
און דער זכות פון דעם זאל ביישטיין יעדען איינעם פון אייך מיט אייערע בני בית שיחיו, געבענטשט צו ווערן פון השם יתברך בכל המצטרך בגשמיות וברוחניות.

To the chairmen, activists, and participants in the 16th annual campaign event for Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch in Montreal — may Hashem be upon them and grant them life — greetings and blessings!
On the occasion of your annual dinner-event, which is to take place G‑d willing on Thursday, the 21st of Adar, I greet all the chairmen, activists, guests, as well as all friends of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch — may they live and be well.
We are just a week after Purim, and everyone should still have fresh in their memory what they learned from Purim; this should have an effect on daily life both individually and collectively.
One of the wondrous stories about the self-sacrifice of Jews during the time of Mordechai and Esther is that despite the difficult experiences from the terrible decree, Mordechai gathered together twenty-two thousand Jewish children and learned Torah with them. In this merit, Hashem helped so that the entire Jewish people were saved.
The Megillah of Esther, like all of Torah, is eternal. What is told there has meaning in all places and at all times. Therefore, these days especially remind each one of us how much we must devote ourselves with all our strength to giving every Jewish child the opportunity to learn Torah in purity and be raised to observe mitzvos with self-sacrifice.
I hope that all those present at this dinner will demonstrate their great awareness of their holy mission and will support Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch in Montreal with utmost generosity — thereby strengthening Jewish communal life in Montreal specifically and throughout the world generally.
And may the merit of this stand for each one of you and your families — may you be blessed by Hashem Yisborach with everything needed materially and spiritually.
