בנועם קראתי המכתב מעש"ק העבר, בו כותבים אודות מינוי הועד של הגמ"ח והחלטתם באופני עבודתו. ויהי רצון אשר חפץ ה' בידם יצליח להרבות מדת החסד בעולם, וכידוע מאמר רז"ל, גדולה גמילות חסדים כו' בין לעשירים וכו'.
ומגלגלין זכות לימין זכין, הימים שבין ימי הגאולה יו"ד וי"ט כסלו, אשר בעלי השמחה מסרו נפשם על עניני אהבת ישראל בכלל וגמילות חסדים ביחוד, וכמסופר ומבואר בכ"מ בהפלאה אחרי הפלאה עד לאמרם אשר ואהבת לרעך כמוך, כלי הוא וחד עם ואהבת את ה' אלקיך, ובאגה"ק לרבנו הזקן סי' ט, איך כל עיקר עבודת ה' בעתים הללו בעקבות משיחא בזה הוא.
ויהי רצון אשר בקרוב ממש נזכה לסיום וחותם אגה"ק זו, יזכה לראות עין בעין בשוב ה' ציון וכו'.
בברכה להרבות פעולות בהאמור מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב ולבשורות טובות, ולהתועדות שמחה ופעילה.

I read with pleasure your letter from last Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh, in which you write about appointing the committee for gemilus chasadim and their decisions regarding its operation.
May it be G‑d's will that your efforts succeed in increasing the attribute of chesed in the world. As is known from our Sages: "Gemilus chasadim is great... whether for the wealthy..." And merit is brought through those who are meritorious.
The days between the redemption dates of Yud and Yud-Tes Kislev are when those who celebrated these days gave their lives for Ahavas Yisrael in general and gemilus chasadim in particular. As is told and explained in many places—wondrously so—until it is said that "Ve'ahavta l'reiacha kamocha" (Love your fellow as yourself) is a vessel and one with "Ve'ahavta es Hashem Elokecha" (Love Hashem your G‑d). In Iggeres HaKodesh of Rabbeinu HaZaken, section 9, it is explained how this is the main service of Hashem in these times preceding Mashiach.
May it be G‑d's will that very soon we merit to complete and seal this Iggeres HaKodesh, to see eye to eye when Hashem returns Zion, etc.
Blessings to increase activities as mentioned with joy and gladness of heart, for good tidings, and for a joyful and active farbrengen.
