Shalom u'Vrachah!

After the longest break, I was pleased to receive your letter from Monday, written with much more peace of mind than your previous letter. May you learn from this for the future as well: if it seems to you that something in your life is not as you wish, you should be certain in the Creator of the world Who watches over each individual with Divine Providence, that the well-known saying of our Sages will be fulfilled for you: Kol mah d'avid Rachmana l'tav avid (Everything the Merciful One does is for good), and ultimately it will also be visibly and manifestly good.

Even though you do not mention this matter, I strongly hope that you are not content with spreading Judaism only as required by your official work but are also involved in it during your own time. For spreading Judaism at all times—and especially nowadays in America—is a great and essential mitzvah.

Regarding what you wrote about concerns for your son's education—there is still time to consider this further, especially since your work is in the field of proper education. Surely your wife is also involved in this. The measure of the Holy One is measure for measure: you will receive abundant true nachas—authentic Jewish nachas—from your children.

Enclosed is a copy of my letter from last Rosh Hashanah; its content truly applies to the entire year. Surely you will use it as well for the aforementioned purpose.
