In response to your letter in which you write that sometimes distracting thoughts disturb you during prayer: The advice for this is to pray specifically from the siddur and in purity.

You also write about your diligence not being complete. The advice for this is to contemplate the meaning of the words—at least their simple meaning—of the prayer, and also to have engraved in your memory the content of what is mentioned at the beginning of chapter 41 in Tanya: that Hashem stands over him, etc., and examines his mind and heart, etc. When you feel weakness in diligence, contemplate again on this concept.

Regarding your question about reasons and Jewish customs—which, according to your letter, people ask you about—turn to the Rabbanim of Anash in your area and they will instruct you. But it is understood that it is not primarily your role to seek reasons or answer questions; rather, it is to study diligently and persistently both Nigleh (revealed Torah) and Chassidus. As our Sages said: "You have labored and found."
