נודעתי ע"ד השתדלותו בענין השמות לכפר חב"ד, ואשר השתדלותו הצליחה. ואף על פי שלמותר לומר תודה לכבודו בענין זה, אבל לא נצרך אלא להעדפה, ובעיקר רצוני להדגיש עוה"פ מה ששמעתי מכ"ק מו"ח כמה פעמים, אשר בשביל המסירות נפש של רבנו הזקן זכה אשר כל אלה העוסקים בעניני חסידות ידם על העליונה. וזה נותן לי תקוה נוספת אשר כבודו יכיר בכוחותיו ואפשרויותיו הכי נעלות וינצלם במדה הכי גדולה לטובת בנ"י בכלל ובתוכם לטובת עדת החסידים ועניניהם אשר באה"ק ת"ו ביחוד...
בהנוגע לתורת רבנו הזקן בכתבי יד שעדין לא נדפסו[2], העבודה מתקדמת בהתאם למה שנדבר בהיות כבודו כאן ובהתאם להמברק ששלח מלונדון, שבודאי יהיו האמצעים למועד המדובר.
ולקראת ימי הגאולה יב-יג תמוז הבע"ל, אביע אחולי, אשר הימים האלה ישפיעו עליו רוב טוב, כי כמו כל דבר טוב אשר נצחי הוא כיון שמקורו בהקב"ה שהוא הי' הוה ויהי' כאחד, הרי גם המס"נ של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בעד קדשי עם ישראל עומדת גם עתה ומנסרת בחללו של עולם[3], אפילו בעולם הזה הגשמי, ואפילו החומרי, וממעטת ההעלם וההסתר שבעולם, ומעוררת את כל אחד הרוצה להקשיב להתעוררות זו והתמסרות, מסירת הנפש ופשיטא שגם מסירת הגוף, לאור אין סוף והמאור, אשר לית אתר פנוי מני' דבור ומעשה של האדם ובל' רבנו הזקן לית מחשבה תפיסא בי' כלל כי אם כאשר תפיסא ומתלבשת בתורה ומצוותי' (תניא ספ"ד).

I have been informed about your efforts regarding the names for Kfar Chabad, and that your efforts were successful. Although it may be unnecessary to thank you for this matter, it is only proper to do so as an added measure. My main desire is to once again emphasize what I heard many times from my revered father-in-law: because of the self-sacrifice of Rabbeinu HaZaken, he merited that all those involved in matters of Chassidus are granted success. This gives me further hope that you will recognize your highest strengths and possibilities and utilize them to the greatest extent for the benefit of the Jewish people in general, and especially for the community of Chassidim and their affairs in Eretz HaKodesh in particular...
Regarding Rabbeinu HaZaken's Torah manuscripts that have not yet been printed, the work is progressing as discussed when you were here and according to the telegram you sent from London; surely the means will be available at the appointed time.
As we approach the days of redemption—Yud-Beis–Yud-Gimmel Tammuz—may I express my wishes that these days bring you abundant goodness. For like every good thing which is eternal since its source is in Hakadosh Baruch Hu Who "was, is, and will be as one," so too does the self-sacrifice of my revered father-in-law for the sanctity of Israel continue even now and resonates throughout the world—even in this physical world, even its material aspect—diminishing concealment and hiddenness in the world. It arouses anyone who wishes to listen to this awakening and dedication—self-sacrifice and certainly also dedication with one's body—to the Infinite Light and Source, from Whom "no place is devoid," through a person's speech and action; as Rabbeinu HaZaken says: "No thought can grasp Him at all except when it grasps and is clothed in Torah and its mitzvos" (Tanya ch. 4).
