Greetings and blessing!
We acknowledge receipt of your letter of 29 Cheshvan with the list enclosed in it.
As for what you write about the state of your health, and also about the difficulty in the holy work of educating Jewish children in Torah and mitzvos: the one depends on the other. And if you will heed my advice, you should make every possible effort to be master of your spirit — your nerves — and to take all matters calmly, especially when you reflect that everything is by Divine Providence. And do not look upon your surroundings as though they were seeking ways to oppress you or to hinder your steps, even if there were some basis for this. The ruling of our holy Torah is already known, "כמים הפנים לפנים גו'" — "As in water, face answers to face, [so the heart of man to man]" (Mishlei 27:19); and when your own outlook changes to a favorable eye, it will be "as in water, face answers to face." And this will also help to improve the state of your health in general, and it will likewise make the work of education easier for you, as is seen tangibly in a number of people and in a number of cases of this kind...
Enclosed herewith is what has been published recently. Surely you will bring merit to the many with its content, and "זכות הרבים תלוי בו" — "the merit of the many depends on him" (Avos 5:18).
With blessing.
