איר דארפט איר ערקלערען, אז מען מיינט ניט מיט דעם אז זי זאל געבן מער וויפל איר מעגלעכקייט איז, נאר אז דאס וואס זי גיט איז אנשטאט צו געבן דאס מיט איין מאל, זאל זי געבן דאס צו ביסלעך יעדער טאג. איז כאטש פאר דער צדקה קאסע איז קיין אונטערשייד צי זי גיט מיט איין מאל אדער זי גיט דאס אין מערערע מאל, אבער פאר דעם מענטשן וואס גיט די צדקה - איז יא א גרויסער אונטערשייד, ווייל מען דארף זיך איינגעוואוינען צו געבן צדקה יעדער טאג. אט אזוי ווי א מענטש מאכט אויסגאבן אויף זיינע זאכן וואס ער דארף און וויל אלע טאג, אזוי דארף מען אויך אלע טאג מאכן אויסגאבן אויף די זאכן וואס השם יתברך וויל און הייסט געבן, וואס דאס איז די זאך פון געבן צדקה. און וואס עס איז נאך בעסער - אז השם יתברך זאל דורך דעם יעדער טאג צוהערן די תפילות ובקשות פון דעם מענטשן, און צו השם יתברך דארף מען דאך אנקומען יעדער טאג, און ניט נאר איין מאל אין פילע טעג. און זיכער וועט איר געפינען די פּאסנדע ווערטער ווי צו ערקלערן איר דאס, אז צדקה - וויפל דאס זאל ניט זיין, מער אדער וויניקער - דארף מען געבן יעדער טאג - (זעלבסטפארשטענדלעך, אויסער די טעג וועלכע מען טאר ניט האלטן קיין געלט, שבת און יום טוב) - און דאנק אייך פאר אייער טרחה אין דעם.

I am responding to your letter from 11/8 with the enclosure, in which you also write that Mrs. ... told you that she is unsure if she can fulfill putting money into a charity box every day.
You should explain to her that this does not mean she should give more than she is able; rather, instead of giving the full amount at once, she should give it in small portions each day. Although for the charity fund itself it makes no difference whether she gives it all at once or in several installments, for the person giving the charity there is a great difference—because one must become accustomed to giving charity every day.
Just as a person spends on his own needs and wants every day, so too should one make expenditures daily on things that Hashem desires and commands us to give—which is the matter of giving charity.
And what is even better: through this, may Hashem listen each day to the prayers and requests of the person. After all, we need to turn to Hashem every day—not just once in many days.
Surely you will find the appropriate words to explain this: that charity—no matter how much it is, more or less—should be given every day (of course, except for days when it is forbidden to handle money—Shabbos and Yom Tov). Thank you for your effort in this matter.
