במענה על מכתבו ממוצש"ק[3] י"ד חשון עם התמונות המוסגרות בו, ות"ח[4] על שילוחם, ובטח בינתים קבל מכתבי מענה על מכתבו הקודם.
נהניתי ממ"ש ע"ד ההשתדלות להשפיע על הורי התלמידים-ות, ובטח יעשו בזה במרץ הכי גדול, כי ענין נעלה ורב ערך הוא ביותר ומכמה טעמים.
לפלא שאינו מזכיר דבר ע"ד הכנות לי"ט כסלו וימי חנוכה בהנוגע להתלמידים-ות וגם בשביל המורים-ות, אף כי באופן אחר כמובן, והרי אין זה מענינים הנעשים בחפזון וכנראה מהעבר וד"ל[5].
במ"ש אודות שאלת הדירה, מובן שהסברא להעתיק לבני ברק אין נראית לי, וצריכים לדור בסמיכות מקום למקום עבודתו בקדש, ובודאי בחיפוש המתאים וע"י ידידים ומכירים ישיגו דירה טובה יותר מדירתם עתה, ובהנוגע לדמי מפתח הרי בטח חלק חשוב מזה יקבלו חילוף דירתם עתה.
ומסיימים בטוב, במ"ש אשר בשעה טובה ומוצלחת קראו לבתם הנולדה להם בשם ברכה, וברוכה תהי', וזכות התעסקותו בחינוך בני ובנות ישראל על טהרת הקדש יעמוד לו ולזוגתו שיחיו לגדלה לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים.

In reply to your letter of Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh, 14 Cheshvan, with the photographs enclosed in it — many thanks for sending them. And surely in the meantime you have received my reply to your previous letter.
I was pleased with what you write about the effort to influence the parents of the students, boys and girls, and surely you will do this with the very greatest energy, for it is a most lofty matter, of very great value, and for several reasons.
It is surprising that you mention nothing about preparations for Yud-Tes Kislev and the days of Chanukah as regards the students, boys and girls, and also for the teachers, men and women — though of course in a different manner. And this is not one of the things that are done in haste, as is evident from the past — and a word to the wise is sufficient.
As for what you write about the question of the apartment: it is understood that the idea of moving to Bnei Brak does not seem right to me; one must live close to the place of one's holy work. And surely, by searching for what is suitable, and through friends and acquaintances, you will obtain a better apartment than your present one. And as for the key money, surely you will receive an important part of it in exchange for your present apartment.
And one concludes with good: with what you write that in a good and auspicious hour you named your newborn daughter Bracha — and may she be blessed. And may the merit of your occupation with the education of Jewish boys and girls in the purity of holiness stand for you and your wife, may you both live, to raise her "לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים" — "to Torah, to the marriage canopy and to good deeds" (cf. Shabbos 137b).
