במענה על מכתבו - הודעתו מפרשת ההתועדות דמוצש"ק פ' נח,
אף שבכלל נהניתי מהנ"ל, ויישר חילם של כל המסדרים, המתעסקים והמשתתפים, הם וב"ב שי' - כולם יעמדו על הברכה,
אבל תמי' ופליאה גדולה על כמה מאנ"ש, שאין שמים לב להמאמר ולהיעוד הידוע לכשיפוצו מע' חוצה, ואיזוהי הפצה - כשרואים פנים חדשות בהתועדויות ובאסיפות חב"ד. וכנראה מהתוצאות - לע"ע, אין נעשה מאומה בכיוון זה. ועד מתי?
פשוט שאין כוונתי לצעוק על העבר - אלא לעורר בהנוגע להבא - להתועדויות דמלוה מלכה הבע"ל, דש"ק מברכים וכו'.
וע"פ פתגם הידוע של הרה"ח והרה"צ וכו' וכו' מהר"ה מפּאריטש שבכל מעשיו כוונתו שעי"ז יתוסף בהנוגע לחסידות וכו'.
וכת"ר וחבריו וכאו"א מאנ"ש המתחיל וממשיך בעריכת התועדויות וכיו"ב - אומרים לו הַמשך והוסף דוקא,
ואז נזכה להַגְמר - במהרה בימינו בביאת משיח צדקנו - אשר ימולא היעוד
ומלאה הארץ דעה את הוי' וגו'.
וכלי שרת מלאים - מקדשין (או שעכ"פ - דעתו למלאותן), ויותיר - מלאים קרינא בי'[2],
בקדושה שמצד הכלים וקדושה שלימה - נוסף על קדושת האורות אשר מצד עצמם,
אשר זהו דוקא תכלית ושלימות הבריאה, כמבואר בכ"מ בדא"ח.

In response to your letter—your report about the farbrengen on Motzaei Shabbat Parshat Noach—even though overall I enjoyed hearing about it, and may all those who organized, participated, and attended be strengthened—they and their families should all stand in blessing—still, I am greatly surprised and puzzled by some of Anash who are not paying attention to the well-known saying and promise: 'When your wellsprings spread outward.' What is true spreading? When new faces are seen at Chabad gatherings and assemblies. Apparently, from the results so far, nothing has been accomplished in this direction. How much longer?
It is clear that my intention is not to criticize the past but to inspire for the future—for upcoming Melaveh Malka gatherings, Shabbat Mevarchim events, etc.
According to the well-known saying of the chassid and tzaddik Maharash of Paritch—that in all his actions his intention was that through them there would be an increase regarding Chassidus, etc.—so too you and your colleagues and every member of Anash who begins and continues organizing these gatherings are told: continue and add specifically! Then we will merit completion—speedily in our days with the coming of Moshiach Tzidkeinu—when the prophecy will be fulfilled: 'The earth will be filled with knowledge of Hashem,' etc.
And holy vessels that are full sanctify (or at least intend to fill them), and it will remain—full as it says [Menachot 88a], with holiness from the vessels themselves and complete holiness—in addition to the holiness of the lights themselves. This is specifically the purpose and completion of creation, as explained in many places in Chassidus.
Blessings for good news regarding all the above.
