Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, in which you write about your situation regarding a person's service to his Creator, and your desire to connect and request details regarding your future conduct.
It is clear and simple that from a distance it is not appropriate to give detailed instructions, since this depends on each individual's nature and the temporary conditions and place where he is found (except as a temporary directive or when absolutely necessary). In your case, the principle and foundation are sufficient—this is also the approach for accepting the Torah in general—which is the precedence of 'naaseh venishma' (we will do before we will hear). This applies to all parts of Torah, including the inner dimension of Torah—its guidance and customs. To bring this acceptance into practice in daily life, you should establish regular study sessions in Chassidus, investigate chassidic customs and follow them, participate in farbrengens and similar activities. For specific details, consult with the mashpia of Toras Emes Yeshiva in Jerusalem or, if possible, at Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva in Lod.
You surely know about the three daily study portions established by my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal: Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya. You should observe these from now on at least.
With blessing, in the name of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe shlita.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that personal spiritual guidance must be tailored to one's unique circumstances. However, foundational steps—accepting Torah with commitment ('naaseh venishma'), regular Chassidus study, following chassidic customs, and consulting a local mashpia—are universally effective paths forward.
