במענה על מכתבם מתחלת אלול, בו כותבים על המצב הדחוק של הת"ת וכו'. ובודאי ידוע גם להם המצב הדחוק של מוסדות חינוך חב"ד וגם אלו הנמצאים באה"ק ת"ו, וכבר ידועה הוראת רז"ל על הפסוק אם כסף תלוה את העני עמך, ובכל זה הנה חבר אני לכל אשר יראוך וגו' ומוסג"פ סקריפ בתור השתתפות סמלית בהוצאות הת"ת שלהם.
ויה"ר אשר חפץ ד' בידם יצליח לחנך דור יראים ושלמים בנר מצוה תורה אור ומאור שבתורה אשר כל רואיהם יכירם כי זרע ברך ה' המה, המחדירים ע"י הכלי והצנור של אהבת ישראל את אהבת ד' ואור התורה ומצותי' בתוככי בני ובנות ישראל בהשפעה ההולכת וגדלה ולימוד הדעת את ה'. והתקשרות באילנא דחיי כלשון רע"מ בזהר חלק ג' קכ"ו ע"ב תוסיף חיים אורה ודעת בחיי היום יומים הלוך והוסיף עד שיקוים היעוד ולא ילמדו איש את רעהו ומלאה הארץ דיעה את ה'.
בכבו' ובברכת הצלחה בעבודתם בקדש ללמד תורה שלימה הנגלה והנסתר ביראת שמים טהורה, ובברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the beginning of Elul, in which you write about the difficult situation of the Talmud Torah, etc. Surely you are also aware of the strained circumstances of Chabad educational institutions, including those in Eretz HaKodesh. Our Sages have already taught regarding the verse 'Im Kesef Talveh Et HaAni Imach' ("If you lend money to My people, to the poor among you"). Nevertheless, I join together with all those who fear You, etc., and I am enclosing a check as a symbolic participation in your Talmud Torah's expenses.
May it be G‑d's will that your efforts succeed in educating a generation who are G‑d-fearing and complete, by the light of mitzvah and Torah—the light and radiance within Torah—so that all who see them will recognize that they are blessed seed of Hashem. Through the vessel and channel of Ahavas Yisrael, may you instill love of G‑d and the light of Torah and its mitzvos within Jewish boys and girls with ever-increasing influence and knowledge of knowing Hashem.
Connection to the Tree of Life—as stated in Raaya Mehemna in Zohar III 126b—will add life, light, and knowledge to daily life, growing ever stronger until the prophecy is fulfilled: 'And they shall no longer teach each man his fellow... for the earth will be filled with knowledge of Hashem.'
With honor and blessings for success in your holy work to teach complete Torah—both revealed and hidden—with pure awe of Heaven. And with blessings for a good inscription and sealing for a good and sweet year.
