במענה על מכתבו מה' אייר, הנה ידוע פתגם הבעש"ט ששמענוהו כ"פ מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, שמכל דבר שהאדם רואה או שומע יכול ובמילא גם צריך ללמוד הוראה בעבודתו את השי"ת, ועאכו"כ במאורע שנוגע לכו"כ מבני ישראל, ובפרט אם רואים שמסר השי"ת רבים ביד מעטים באופן נסי, ה"ז צריך לעורר תוספת כח לעבדו ית', ואין להתרשם כלל וכלל ממה שישנם נוהגים באופן אחר, ורוצים לבאר הנהגתם ע"פ שכל שהם הרוב, והנ"ל הוא הוכחה להיפך, שאין הרוב בכמות מכריע כלל וכלל, וגם אלו המתנהגים אחרת יודעים עד"ז, אלא שיצרם הרע אין נלחמים בו כראוי, ולכן נופלים תחת ממשלתו, שזהו נוסף על כל שאר הענינים הנהגה דכפוי טובה באופן היותר מבהיל.
משל למה הדבר דומה, למלך גדול ורב, שמראה אהבתו הגדולה והעצומה לאיש הדיוט נבזה שפל אנשים כו', ויורד אליו ממקום כבודו עם כל שריו כו', ומכניסו להיכלו היכל המלך כו' (ע"ד המבואר בתניא פרק מ"ו), האפשר לומר ששפל אנשים זה יאמר למלך, אשר היכל זה אינו של המלך אלא של ההדיוט, ולכן יתנהג בו כפי רצונו, ותחלת הנהגתו היא לגרש את המלך מהיכלו בכל האופנים שאפשרי, והיינו ע"י הנהגה גסה היפך ציווי המלך על כל צעד וצעד?! והנמשל מובן...
נהניתי גם מכתבו אשר חלקו מצה שמורה להורי התלמידים דבית הספר שלהם, ובודאי גם בשאר בתי ספר הרשת נהגו מנהג טוב זה, והשי"ת יצליחו לבשר טוב תמיד בענינים הכללים והפרטים...

In response to your letter from the 5th of Iyar: It is known, as the Baal Shem Tov taught—a teaching we have heard many times from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—that from everything a person sees or hears, one can and therefore must learn a lesson in serving Hashem. All the more so when it is an event that affects many Jews, and especially if one sees that Hashem delivered many into the hands of the few in a miraculous way. This should arouse additional strength to serve Him, and one should not be at all affected by those who behave differently and try to justify their conduct with logic because they are the majority. The above is actually proof to the contrary: that a numerical majority does not determine anything at all. Even those who act otherwise know this as well; it is just that they do not fight their evil inclination properly and therefore fall under its rule. This is in addition to all other aspects—such conduct is an extreme form of ingratitude.
To what can this be compared? To a great and mighty king who shows immense love to a lowly, despised commoner and descends from his place of honor with all his ministers to bring him into his palace—the king's palace (as explained in Tanya chapter 46). Is it possible for this lowly person to say to the king that this palace does not belong to the king but rather to himself, and therefore he will act there as he pleases? And his first act is to expel the king from his own palace in every possible way—meaning through coarse behavior contrary to the king's command at every step?! The lesson is clear...
I also enjoyed reading in your letter that you shared some shemurah matzah with the parents of your school's students. Surely this good custom was also practiced in other schools of the network. May Hashem grant you success to always share good news both in general matters and personal ones...

Summary
The Rebbe teaches us to draw inspiration from miracles—especially when Hashem gives victory to a few over many—and not be swayed by majority opinion or social pressure. Every event offers a lesson for our service of Hashem.
