במענה על מכתבו מד' אייר, הנכתב זו פעם הראשונה כדרישת נשיאנו הק' במצב רוח של בטחון, וכאמיתית מדת הבטחון, המבואר בכ"מ שבוטחים בהשי"ת שימלא כל הצטרכות כפשוטם בגשמיות מבלי הבט, אף אם לפעמים ע"פ החשבון אין זה מגיע, ויה"ר שימשיך לכתוב תמיד במצב רוח כהנ"ל שזה גופא ירבה בהבשו"ט בטוב הנראה והנגלה בתוכן מכתבו.
כבקשתו אזכיר את מרת ... תחי' על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע לאריכות ימים ושנים טובות, ולפלא שאינו מזכיר באיזה אופן נסתדרה, כן לפלא עוד יותר שאינו כותב דבר ע"ד ההתועדויות דחדש ניסן העבר, וכן לא ע"ד הפעולות בתוככי נשי חב"ד, ובטח ימלא בהזדמנות הבאה.
בברכה להסתדרות טובה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד בקרוב ממש.

In response to your letter from the 4th of Iyar, which was written for the first time as our holy Nasi requested—in a spirit of trust—and as is the true quality of trust, explained in many places: that one trusts in Hashem that He will fulfill all needs literally and materially without regard to whether, according to calculation, it is deserved. May it be His will that you continue to write always in such a spirit; this itself will increase good news—good that is visible and revealed—in the content of your letters.
As you requested, I will mention Mrs. ... may she live, at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), for long and good years. It is surprising that you did not mention how things were arranged; it is even more surprising that you did not write anything about the gatherings during last Nissan, nor about activities within Nshei Chabad. Surely you will include this in your next opportunity.
