במענה על מכתבו בו מודיע ע"ד החגיגה של חנוכת בנין הישיבה, לפלא קצת שמקצר כ"כ, ואף שהלימוד זכות הוא שרבה עליהם העבודה, הנה עכ"פ חסר בידיעה כאן, והרי ידוע בכגון דא אי אפשר שבמשך הזמן שלא תהי' תועלת מהתוספת בידיעות, ובכל אופן נהניתי במאד שהי' הדבר בהצלחה, ובודאי ידוע להם מנהג מדינות אלו שהתעוררות דחגיגות כגון אלו צריכה להיות ניכרת במשך כל השנה ע"י שנפגשים עם הבע"ב ומזכירים אותם באופן דיפלומטי ע"ד הזזה בעת החגיגה וכו' שפועל עליהם הוספה בטרחה בגופם או בממונם. ובודאי למותר לעורר[ו] שכדאי שיהי' במכ"ע המתאים תיאור החגיגה בכדי שיהי' נתינת מקום להבעה פומבית להמשתתפים בה ומעורר קנאת סופרים באחרים, ונוסף על כל זה הנה זה מגדיל ענין הישיבה...
בהנוגע להצעת הנ"ל אודות יוניפארם, הנה אינני רואה תועלת בזה, וכיון שבמוסדותינו באה"ק ת"ו בצרפת וכו' אין ענין זה, ואדרבה יש מקום לחשש שהרי א"א להשביע רצונו של כאו"א, ובמילא ענין היוניפארם ימנע מאחדים הביקור בבתי הספר, ונוסף על כל זה יש מקום לחשש שאם ינהיגו יוניפארם תהי' שאלה של ענינים מסוימים שאי אפשר יהי' לקבלם ויבוא לפירוד הלבבות, ובמילא יש לבטל הענין ע"י שיבארו כמו שהוא המצב שבמוסדותינו אין ענין כזה ומעולם לא הי'.
אופן לימוד הנערות אם צ"ל באותו הבנין שבו לומדים הנערים, מופרך הוא, אבל פלא שאי אפשר למצוא מקום אחר ללמוד זה כיון שבטח מספר הנערות המוכנות ללמוד במוסדות כמו אלו לע"ע איננו גדול.
מ"ש ... שי' מחכה להסכם מצדי שילמוד איזה שעות בישיבת ..., לפלא בעיני הדבר הספק בכגון דא לאחר שידוע כמה הפליג כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בגודל ענין זה ויישר חילו בודאי יתעסק בזה כדבעי, והשי"ת יצליחו, וה"ה בהנוגע לההמשך לזה שכותב במכתבו שאנ"ש העוסקים בקביעות בהישיבה צריכים להתעוררות, וגם זה פלא בעיני כי מה יש להוסיף דברים [על] הדברים החוצבים להבות אש של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר במ"ש אודות חינוך הכשר ואודות חינוך על טהרת הקדש נוסף על מה שראו שהוא עצמו פעל והקדיש מזמנו מכחותיו ומרצו וכחות היותר פנימים למקצוע החינוך לא רק בגדולים אלא גם לקטנים ולקטנות, והמפורסמות אינן צריכים ראי'.
בהנוגע להקס"ד אודות השתתפות בחגיגה דה' אייר, הנה ימים אלו קבלתי מכתב מאה"ק ת"ו שכמה מבתי הספר הנמצאים שם ואפילו של מזרחי אין משתתפים בזה מכמה טעמים, עאכו"כ במדינתם שאין להכנס בכל ענין של מפלגתיות, וכמו שכתבתי כמה פעמים, ויש להסביר הדברים גם לאחרים אשר ענינם הוא לעסוק בחינוך על טהרת הקדש ותו לא מידי, ואם ישנו איזה ענין שע"י שיעשוהו ירחיק איזה ילד או ילדה אחת מביה"ס שלהם, ה"ז היפך מטרת מוסד זה, ובהנוגע ליום הנ"ל, הנה יש בזה כמה חילוקי דיעות מן הקצה אל הקצה, ובמילא אם יקחו מצדם איזה עמדה שתהי', יהיו לנגדם כמה חוגים מבני ישראל, ומובן אשר טוב עוד יותר מבלי להכנס כלל בכל השאלה ולהקטינה ... און צורייבען איר אינגאנצען, ואם אי אפשר זה בודאי ימצא אותיות המתאימות להסביר כהנ"ל...

In response to your letter informing me about the celebration of the inauguration of the yeshivah building, it is somewhat surprising that you wrote so briefly. Even though it can be justified by saying that there was much work involved, nevertheless there is a lack of information here. It is well known that in such matters, over time there is always benefit from additional details. In any case, I was very pleased that the event was successful. Surely you are aware of the custom in these countries that the excitement from such celebrations should be felt throughout the year by meeting with supporters and diplomatically reminding them about their involvement during the celebration and so on; this influences them to increase their efforts physically or financially.
It is certainly unnecessary to remind you that it would be worthwhile for an appropriate newspaper to publish a description of the celebration so as to give public recognition to its participants and inspire healthy competition among others. In addition to all this, it increases the prominence of the yeshivah itself.
Regarding your above proposal about Youniform: I do not see any benefit in this. Since our institutions in Eretz HaKodesh, France, etc., do not have this practice—and on the contrary, there is reason for concern since it is impossible to satisfy everyone—implementing Youniform may prevent some from visiting the schools. Furthermore, there is concern that if Youniform is introduced there will arise certain issues that cannot be accepted and this could lead to division among hearts. Therefore, this matter should be canceled by explaining simply that our institutions do not have such a practice and never did.
The idea of girls studying in the same building as boys is unfounded. However, it is surprising that another place cannot be found for this study since surely at present the number of girls willing to study in such institutions is not large.
What you wrote ... waits for my agreement for someone to study a few hours in yeshivah ..., I am surprised at this doubt after it is well known how much my revered father-in-law greatly emphasized this matter and encouraged those involved. Surely he will engage in this properly and may Hashem grant him success.
The same applies regarding what you wrote in your letter that Anash who are regularly involved with the yeshivah need encouragement; this too surprises me because what more can be added beyond my revered father-in-law's fiery words regarding proper education and education on Taharas HaKodesh? Besides what was seen—that he himself acted and dedicated his time, energy, and innermost strengths to education not only for adults but also for children—both boys and girls—and what is well-known needs no proof.
Regarding your consideration about participating in the celebration of Hei Iyar: Recently I received a letter from Eretz HaKodesh stating that several schools there—even those affiliated with Mizrachi—do not participate for various reasons; all the more so in your country where one should avoid any involvement with partisanship. As I have written many times before: This should also be explained to others whose role is solely education on Taharas HaKodesh—nothing else. If anything might distance even one child from their school as a result of participation—it contradicts the institution's purpose. Regarding this day itself: There are many differing opinions about it—from one extreme to another—so if you take any position whatsoever you will face opposition from various Jewish groups. Clearly it is even better not to get involved at all or minimize involvement ... or avoid it entirely; if that's impossible then surely you'll find suitable words to explain as above...
