עס האט מיר געפרייט צו באקומען די ידיעה וועגן דער פייערונג פון -50יעריקן יובילעאום, פון אייער חשובע קאנגערייגיישאן נוסח אר"י וואס וועט פארקומען י"ב אדר הבע"ל.
די פייערונג איז ספעציעל וויכטיק דערפאר וואס זי באווייזט, אז די פירער און מעמבערס שאצן אפ די וויכטיקייט פון דער שול, בפרט א שול וואס טראגט דעם נאמען פון אר"י ז"ל, וואס האט ליכטיק געמאכט דעם וועג פון עבודת השם, עבודה מיט שמחה און מסירת נפש, מיט חסידישער ווארימקייט און הארציקייט.
אזוי ווי די פייערונג קומט פאר א טאג בעפאר מען לייענט די מגילה, האט די צייט א וויכטיקען צוזאמענבונד מיט דער געשעעניש, לויט ווי חסידים פארשטייען דעם אויסדרוק אז "מ'דארף לעבן מיט דער צייט". איינע פון די וויכטיקסטע נקודות וואס פורים לערנט אונז איז דאס, וואס די אידן אין יענער צייט, אין אנבליק פון דער גרויסער סכנה פון פארניכטונג ח"ו וואס האט א גאנץ יאר באדרויט דעם אידישן פאלק, מענער פרויען און קינדער, האבן זיך ניט פארלאזן אויף די גרויסע פארבינדונגען וואס זיי האבן געהאט מיט דער מלוכה דורך אסתר המלכה און מרדכי היהודי היושב בשער המלך, נאר האבן פארשטאנען, אז די הצלה פון אידישן פאלק ליגט אין דער הצלה פון די אידישע קינדער, וואס דערפאר האט מרדכי פארזאמלט די אידישע קינדערלעך מאסנווייז און האט זיי געלערנט תורה און מצוות, ווי עס ווערט אויספירלעך דערציילט אין גמרא און מדרש.
זעלבסטפארשטענדלעך, אז היינט איז אויך אזוי און נאך מער, ובפרט אין א פרייען לאנד, וואו די מעגלעכקייטן צו ראטעווען - ברוחניות - אידישע קינדער, זיינען גרויסע, און וואו יעדער איינער האט א געלעגנהייט צו האבן א חלק אין דער גרויסער הצלה ארבעט, וואס פון דעם הענגט אפ די צוקונפט פון אידישן פאלק ניט נאר ברוחניות נאר אויך דער פיזישער עקזיסטענץ פון אונזער פאלק בכל מקום שהם.
דעריבער בין איך ספעציעל צופרידן, וואס איינע פון הויפט אקטיוויטעטן פון אייער שול, איז דער חינוך הכשר פאר די קינדער אונטער דער אנפירערשאפט פון אייער איבערגעבענעם און ענערגישן רב, הרב שלום שי' ריבקין. זיכער וועט אויך ווייטער אנגעפירט ווערן די לעבנסוויכטיקע חינוך ארבעט אין גייסט פון מרדכי היהודי, באלויכטן און דורכגעדרונגען מיט תורת האר"י ז"ל, חסידישע לערע, חסידישע ווארימקייט און מסירות נפש, וואס בלויז אויף דעם אופן קען דער גרויסער נאמען פון אייער שול, נוסח האר"י ז"ל ווערן בארעכטיקט און אויסגעדריקט אין לעבן.

It gave me pleasure to receive the news about the celebration of the 50-year jubilee of your esteemed Nusach Ari congregation, which will take place on the upcoming 12th of Adar. This celebration is especially important because it shows that the leaders and members appreciate the significance of the synagogue—especially one that bears the name of the Ari z"l, who illuminated the path of serving Hashem with joy and self-sacrifice, with chassidic warmth and heartfelt sincerity.
Since this celebration takes place a day before Megillah reading, its timing is closely connected to that event, as chassidim understand the phrase "one must live with the times." One of Purim's most important lessons is that in those days, when faced with great danger threatening destruction—G‑d forbid—that loomed over the Jewish people all year long (men, women, and children), they did not rely on their strong connections to royalty through Esther HaMalka and Mordechai HaYehudi who sat at the king's gate. Instead, they understood that salvation for the Jewish people depended on saving Jewish children. That is why Mordechai gathered Jewish children en masse and taught them Torah and mitzvos, as described in detail in Gemara and Midrash.
Obviously, today is no different—and even more so—especially in a free country where there are great opportunities to save Jewish children spiritually. Here everyone has a chance to take part in this great work of salvation upon which depends not only our people's spiritual future but also our physical existence wherever they may be.
Therefore I am especially pleased that one of your synagogue's main activities is providing proper education for children under the leadership of your devoted and energetic rabbi, Rabbi Shalom Rivkin. Surely this vital educational work will continue in the spirit of Mordechai HaYehudi—illuminated and permeated with the teachings of the Ari z"l, chassidic teachings, warmth, and self-sacrifice—for only in this way can your synagogue's great name Nusach Ari z"l be justified and truly expressed in life.
