אבער דאס איז בכלל ניט פארשטאנדיק וויילע אין פילע פאלען אין אה"ק ת"ו[2] איז אפילו אן געלט ארדענט מען זיך איין בא חקלאות. און עס איז א וואונדער וואס מ'זעט ניט דעם אמת, ניט קוקענדיג אויף דעם וואס איך האב שוין געשריבען מערערע מאל לאנשי הכפר בכללות, אז לויטן פתגם הצמח צדק אל"ף בי"ת אחדות ברכה, און וואס מער עס וועט זיין גרעסער די אחדות ניט נאר אין ענינים רוחנים נאר אויך אין ענינים גשמיים אלץ גרעסער וועט זיין די ברכה פון השי"ת ניט נאר אין ענינים גשמיים נאר אויך אין ענינים רוחנים. און דאס אליין וואס די אחדות קומט אן שווער, איז א הוכחה נוספת, אז אין דעם האנדעלט זיך.
זעלבסט פארשטענדליך אז איך וויל ניט באטאנען בהנוגע צו אייך בפרט, אבער דאס איז נוגע בכללות אין די ענינים פון כפר און במילא איז דאס נוגע יעדער פרט פון דעם כלל. און דעריבער קומט בא מיר ניט אויס אז איר זאלט ליקווידירען דאס וואס איר האט באקומען פון דער סוכנות וכו' ובפרט נאך דעם אז עס זיינען דורכגעגאנגען די שווערע יארען און זיי זיינען שוין פון הינטערזיך...

In reply to your letter of 11 Cheshvan, in which you write that your financial situation is difficult, and you attribute this to the fact that farming needs a lot of money, etc.
But this is altogether not understandable, because in many cases in the Holy Land, may it be built and established, people set themselves up in farming even without money. It is a wonder that one does not see the truth, despite what I have already written several times to the people of the village in general: according to the saying of the Tzemach Tzedek, "Aleph, Beis: achdus, brachah" (unity, blessing). The greater the unity, not only in spiritual matters but also in material matters, the greater will be the blessing of G‑d, not only in material matters but also in spiritual matters. And the very fact that unity comes hard is further proof that this is what is at stake.
It is self-understood that I do not wish to stress this regarding you in particular, but it affects the affairs of the village in general, and so affects each individual of the whole. Therefore it does not seem right to me that you should liquidate what you received from the Agency, etc., especially after the hard years have passed and are already behind you...
