במענה על שאלתו, בו שואל אם יסעו הוריו ממקומם עתה להסתדר בקבוץ חפשי באה"ק ת"ו, ופלא בעיני גם על הקס"ד בזה, ויעיין היטב בלשון הרמב"ם הלכות דיעות ריש פרק ו', צריך אדם להתחבר ולישב אצל החכמים כו' ויתרחק מן הרשעים כו' ילך למקום שאנשי' צדיקים כו' ואם הם רעים וחטאים כו' יצא למערות ולחוחים ולמדבריות, ועאכו"כ שהנמצא במקום שמנהגי' הוא ע"פ התורה והמצוה שאי אפשר לחשוב ע"ד העתקה לקבוץ חפשי, והשומר את עמו ישראל בכל עת ובכל מקום אשר לא ינום כו' ישמור את הוריו בתוך כל ישראל ודוקא בסביבה של יראת שמים תורה ומצוה אשר שם שכינתא שריא, והוא מצדו יכול להוסיף בזה ע"י הוספה בשקידה מסירה ונתינה בלימוד התורה הנגלית ותורת החסידות וקיום המצות בהידור מיוסדים כל הנ"ל על יראת שמים טהורה.

In response to your question, in which you ask whether your parents should leave their current place to settle in a non-religious kibbutz in Eretz HaKodesh (may it be rebuilt and established), I am astonished even at the consideration of this idea. Carefully review the words of Rambam, Hilchos Deos, beginning of chapter 6: "A person must associate and dwell with the wise... and distance himself from the wicked... he should go to a place where people are righteous... and if they are evil and sinful... he should go out to caves, thorns, and deserts." All the more so when one is in a place where the customs are according to Torah and mitzvah—it is unthinkable to consider moving to a non-religious kibbutz.
He Who guards His people Israel at all times and in every place, Who never slumbers, will guard your parents among all Israel—specifically within an environment of fear of Heaven, Torah, and mitzvah where the Shechinah dwells. For your part, you can add to this protection by increasing diligence, devotion, and giving in studying revealed Torah and Chassidus and performing mitzvos with extra care—all founded on pure fear of Heaven.
