במענה על מכתבו מא' קרח בו כותב אודות ג' סוגים בהשגת טרף לבית. הרי כבר ידוע הוראת רז"ל השוה לכל נפש (מלבד יחידי סגולה) שצריך לעשות כלי לקבלת הברכה וכמאמר הכתוב וברכך ה"א בכל אשר תעשה, וכמבואר ג"כ טעם הדבר בכ"מ בתורת החסידות ומהם בלקו"ת לרבנו הזקן בעל התניא (פוסק בנסתר דתורה) והשו"ע (פוסק בנגלה דתורה) פרשת תצא דף ל"ז סוף ע"ב.
אף שקשין מזונותיו של אדם כקרי"ס שזהו אחד הנסים הכי גדולים בכ"ז בחיצונית צריך לעשות כלי ג"כ בדרכי הטבע וכמבואר בלקו"ת שם, אלא שכדי להגדיל ברכות השי"ת צריך להיות חזק בבטחון ולהוסיף אומץ בלימוד תורת הנגלה ותורת החסידות וקיום המצות בהידור שהן הן הצנור והכלים להמשכת וקבלת ברכות השי"ת בהמצטרך.

In response to your letter from the first of Korach in which you write about three types of ways to obtain sustenance for the home. It is already well known the instruction of our Sages, which applies to everyone (except for rare individuals), that one must make a vessel to receive the blessing, as it says: "And Hashem will bless you in all that you do," and as explained also in many places in Chassidus—including Likkutei Torah by our master the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya (who rules in the hidden dimension of Torah), and Shulchan Aruch (who rules in the revealed dimension of Torah), Parshas Teitzei page 37 end of side B.
Even though a person's sustenance is as difficult as the splitting of the sea—which is one of the greatest miracles—still, outwardly one must make a vessel also through natural means, as explained there in Likkutei Torah. However, to increase the blessings of Hashem, one should be strong in trust and increase strength in studying both Nigleh (the revealed part) and Chassidus (the inner part) of Torah and perform mitzvos with extra care; these are the channels and vessels for drawing down and receiving Hashem's blessings for what is needed. And may Hashem grant you success.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that while sustenance comes from Above—even miraculously—one must still take practical steps through natural means to provide for their family. Strengthening trust in G‑d and increasing Torah study and mitzvah observance further open channels for Divine blessing.
