לאחרי הפסק הארוך נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מט"ז שבט בו כותב אודות מצב פרנסתו וכן ע"ד השיעורים שלו ומסיים שבבית החרושת שם עובד הנה העובדים שמה אינם פרומע.
הנה נשען על המבואר בתניא בארוכה איך שכל אחד מישראל יש לו אהבה מסותרת ונכלל בה גם דחילו והיא ירושה לנו מאבותינו, א"כ הרי אינם חסרים אלא מעורר שיגלה בפניהם את הנקודה פנימית שלהם וע"י הרוח חיים נעשה מניצוץ זה אבוקה גדולה שתאיר את הגוף ונפש הבהמית שלהם ואחרי זה גם ביתם וסביבתם, וכיון שפרנסתו הגשמית באה לו עכ"פ בחלקה הגדול בבית החרושת זה הנה קרוב לאמר שגם פרנסתו ברוחניות מקומה שם והוא ע"י הנ"ל וכשעושים במרץ המתאים מצליחים...
בודאי הנה נוסף על השיעורים שיש לו שמזכיר במכתבו יש לו ג"כ שיעור בלימוד הלכות הנוגעות בחיי היום יומים אשר רובם ככולם בחלק אורח חיים והשי"ת יצליחו בכל הנ"ל.

After the long break, I was pleased to receive your letter from the 16th of Shevat in which you write about your livelihood situation as well as about your Torah classes, concluding that at the factory where you work, the workers there are not observant.
It is based on what is explained at length in Tanya: how every Jew has a hidden love (Ahavah Mesuteret), which also includes awe (dechilu), and this is an inheritance from our forefathers. Therefore, they lack only someone to awaken and reveal their inner point to them. Through this spirit of life, a great torch is made from this spark that will illuminate their body and animal soul—and after that, also their home and surroundings. And since your material livelihood comes to you—at least for the most part—from this factory, it is close to say that your spiritual livelihood also belongs there, and it is through the above. When one acts with proper enthusiasm, one succeeds...
Certainly, in addition to the classes you mention in your letter, you also have a class in learning practical halachot relevant to daily life—most of which are found in Orach Chaim—and may Hashem grant you success in all of the above.
