שלום וברכה!
נצטערתי להשמועות אשר לא בכל יום יש מנין להתפלל בציבור בביהכ"נ שלהם, ולא עוד אלא שבאיזה ימים בית הכנסת אפילו סגור לגמרי.
בודאי למותר להעיר אשר אם בכל הזמנים ובכל המקומות היו בתי כנסיות ובתי מדרשות - "מקדש מעט", שמהם תצא תורה לכל הסביבה, על אחת כמה וכמה שההכרח בזה גדול פי כמה בזמנינו זה ובפרט בארצנו הקדושה, תבנה ותכונן על ידי משיח צדקנו, אשר עיני ה"א בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה.
ובימים אלו דחודש שבט, בו יום ההילולא של נשיאנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ובשבתות שלפניו ושלאחריו עת רצון היא וימי סגולה להתחזק ולמצוא דרכים המתאימים לתקן את הנ"ל באופן אשר מכאן ולהבא יהי' בית הכנסת ובית מדרש פתוח בכל יום ובכל לילה, מקום תפלה ותורה, תורה ברבים, בתורת הנגלה ותורת החסידות.
וידוע מסורת רבינו הזקן בעל התניא (פוסק בנסתר) והשלחן ערוך (פוסק בנגלה) אשר "בגלל המסירת נפש הלזו על תורת החסידות פסקו בבי"ד של מעלה, אשר בכל ענין של תורה יראת שמים ומדות טובות תהי' יד מקושריו והולכי בעקבותיו על העליונה". (קצורים והערות לספר לקוטי אמרים, סוף עמ' קכ"ב).
בברכת הצלחה בענין הנ"ל הוא מקדש מעט ובפעולותיהם בקדש בכלל.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was saddened to hear reports that not every day there is a minyan to pray with a congregation in your synagogue, and furthermore, that on some days the synagogue is even completely closed.
It goes without saying that if at all times and in all places synagogues and study halls—"miniature sanctuaries," from which Torah spreads to the entire environment—were essential, how much more so is this necessary in our times and especially in our holy land (may it be rebuilt and established by our righteous Moshiach), about which it is said: "the eyes of Hashem your G‑d are upon it from the beginning of the year to year's end."
In these days of the month of Shevat, which includes the yahrzeit of our Nasi, my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), and on the Shabbasos before and after it—which are auspicious times and days for strengthening—one should find appropriate ways to correct this situation so that from now on the synagogue and study hall will be open every day and night as a place for prayer and Torah study—public Torah study—in both revealed Torah and Chassidus.
It is well known from our master the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya (a halachic authority in mysticism) and Shulchan Aruch (a halachic authority in revealed law), that "because of this self-sacrifice for Chassidus, it was decreed by the Heavenly court that in every matter of Torah, fear of Heaven, and good character traits—the hand of his followers will prevail." (See notes to Sefer Likkutei Amarim at the end of page 122).
With blessings for success in this matter—the miniature sanctuary—and in all their holy activities in general.
