Your letter from Chol HaMoed Sukkos with its enclosures has arrived. As you requested, it was passed on to the holy committee relevant to them. Enclosed are two receipts and three letters from the committee for the Sefer Torah. Thank you for your past efforts and I am sure you will continue to strive in the future as well.

You surely remember your suggestion that when a letter arrives from the Sefer Torah committee, Mr. Victor will participate in funding the writing of the Sefer Torah.

Of all the letters about Tehillim that were sent to our community's synagogue—over one hundred—only two responses were received: from a) Bnei Tzion synagogue and b) Lo[...] Synagogue. Perhaps it is worthwhile to publicize this matter in your newspaper similarly.

It would be proper to print in your newspaper about the calendar published by Melach Maayan Hanatitz which is enclosed. Similarly, it has already been printed and will again be printed in Morgen Journal. A sample calendar is being sent to you.

Certainly Reb Moshe Leib will convey everything discussed with him regarding this matter.

Please send four copies of the newspaper in which there was an article about Machane Yisrael.

Surely you have already begun, as you promised, to take an interest in renewing "the Shabbos gatherings," and we await your good news on this. Certainly with G‑d's help you will also strive to establish "Shabbos gatherings" for girls as well.

P.S. After writing this letter your letter arrived, and we are sending you ten calendars as requested. Surely there are orphanages in Chicago; please kindly inform us of details: a) name and address; b) number of orphans; c) names of directors; d) what spirit prevails there; etc., and thank you in advance.
