In response to your letters from the 8th of Cheshvan and Wednesday of last week: Regarding the first matter—

a) All printing materials you requested have been sent to you. It is surprising that you did not order a much larger quantity of the "Alef-Beis" and the calendar, especially the latter which made a great impression and is in high demand.

b) It appears that Reb N.K. has not yet arrived here.

c) Regarding what was printed in Warsaw and also the Likkutei Torah—our friend Reb Y.D. informed us that you requested ten sets be sent to you. The price per set (bound) is four dollars from here. According to your letter, we are waiting for an opportunity when someone travels. If you wish them sent by post, please inform us.

d) The order of blessings and prayers is in Anschel—together with an English translation—edited and accurate, but it is not a full siddur. For now it is being printed and will appear soon with G‑d's help.

e) Enclosed is a letter regarding the Torah scroll dedication event. In general, it has been established here that participation in the writing expenses requires at least one dollar per letter (except for those who cannot or do not wish to contribute).

f) We are surprised that there are difficulties sending money here since according to law anyone can send up to twenty-five shekels from their country. The sooner this is sent—especially regarding the Torah scroll—the better.

g) It would be appropriate for Reb N.D. Denberg to register himself and his household in the Torah scroll and participate in its expenses as befits "according to the camel is its load," since the expenses are great. Obviously this matter is not discussed with just anyone; enough said. The same applies to encouraging others connected with this matter, such as the Albert brothers etc.

h) The talks from Shemini Atzeres and Simchas Torah have not yet been arranged. Additionally enclosed (to be returned), is the talk from Shabbos Parshas Bereishis which has not been edited.

j) When Reb Tzvi Pliskin was here he promised his participation in all matters of Melaveh Malka Chabad and Machaneh Yisrael in your country—as long as he is told what he should do. Certainly through his involvement he and his family will draw closer to all these matters.
