מן הסתם יודעת ומקיימת את המנהג שברבים מבתי ישראל – לתרום לצדקה לפני הדלקת הנרות ביום ששי ובערבי חגים.

בהתאם למנהג, מזכירים בתפילה לפי השם ושם האם, ומן הסתם במכתב הבא תודיע שמות אלו.

May Hashem grant that you will have good news in this matter, including the success of the medicines that the doctor will prescribe for you. Daily life in accordance with Hashem's instructions in our holy Torah brings with it Hashem's blessings in all that a person needs, including health.
You surely know and observe the custom practiced in many Jewish homes—to give charity before lighting candles on Friday and on the eve of holidays.
