In response to your letter from July 11th in which you write about the relationships in the home, etc.

In general, in such matters, more can be accomplished through friends and acquaintances than through direct words from those close by.

Regarding your question at the end of your letter about where to invest money: one should discuss this with reliable businesspeople and good friends who are knowledgeable in this area or can find out about it.

And may Hashem Yisbarach, Who watches over everyone—man and woman—lead you in all the above-mentioned matters in a good way, good in every respect.

I hope it is unnecessary to point out that daily conduct must be in accordance with all the instructions of our holy Torah, Toras Chaim (the Torah of Life), and to observe the mitzvos about which it is written: "V'Chai Bahem" (and you shall live by them)—which is in addition to the main point that this is the command of Hashem Yisbarach; it is also the way to receive His blessings for all one's needs.

Certainly you maintain the good custom of Jewish women to give tzedakah each time before lighting candles on Erev Shabbos and Erev Yom Tov. It would also be good to have the mezuzos in your home checked (inspected) so that they are all kosher according to halachah—if this has not been done within the last twelve months.
