איך שיק מיין באגריסונג און ברכה צו אלע אנטיילנעמער אין דעם יערלעכן באנקעט. אן אונטערנעמונג פון פרויען, און דערצו פאר אזא וויכטיגען צוועק, פארדינט דעם גרעסטן דערפאלג, און דער אויבערשטער זאל העלפן אז די הצלחה זאל זיין אין אלע הינזיכטן, פינאנציעל און גייסטיג.
אריינגערעכנט אין דעם איז אויך - אז די מיטגלידערינס פון דער ליידיס אקזילערי זאל אליין אויך ריכטיק אפשאצן זייער באדייטונגספולע ארבעט, און זאלן דינען אלס ביישפיל און באגייסטערונג פאר אנדערע.
אזוי ווי די אונטערנעמונג קומט פאר ראש-חודש אדר, וואס דער הויפט-פונקט פון דעם חודש איז פורים, איז כדאי נאכאמאל צו דערמאנען, אז כאטש ביידע, מרדכי און אסתר, האבן געבראכט די
ג-טלעכע ישועה און נס פורים, ווערט די מגילה אנגערופן דווקא אויפן נאמען פון אסתר אליין. דערמיט אונטערשטרייכט די תורה הק' די וויכטיגע ראל פון א אידישער פרוי, ניט נאר אין צוזאמענהאנג מיט פורים אליין, נאר אין אלע שווערע און קריטישע צייטן, אריינרעכענדיג די איצטיגע צייט.
און כאטש דער "המן" אין דער איצטיגער צייט און אין דער דאזיגער לאנד האט אן אנדער אויסזען ווי אין די צייטן פון מרדכי און אסתר, איז ער אבער בעצם דער זעלבער "עמלק" וואס זוכט אפצוקילן און אפצורייסן אידן פון תורה און מצוות, און וואס וויל אז אידן זאלן זיך בוקן צו זיין עבודה-זרה - צו אלץ וואס איז פרעמד דעם אידישן גייסט און דעם אידישן לעבנסוועג.
דער איינציגער וועג ווי צו באקעמפן דעם המן און די עבודה-זרה פון דער איצטיגער צייט, איז דער אלטער, אויסגעטראטענער און זיכערער וועג וואס האט אויך מבטל געמאכט אלע גזירות פון המן הרשע - צו פארשטארקן דעם חינוך
על-טהרת-הקודש, פארגרעסערן די ישיבות און מוסדות חינוך פון תורה מיט יראת-שמים, וועלכע פלאנצן איין אין אידישע קינדער אן אומבאגרענעצטע ליבשאפט פאר תורה און מצוות, ביז מסירת-נפש ממש, ווי אין דער צייט פון מרדכי און אסתר אין שושן הבירה.
אונטערשטרייכט די תורה הק' - דערמיט וואס די מגילה פון פורים טראגט דווקא אסתר'ס נאמען - אז אין אלע גורל'דיגע צייטן איז די אחריות, און צוזאמען דערמיט אויך דער זכות, פון דער אידישער פרוי ניט קיין "צווייט-ראנגיקע" ח"ו, נאר, אדרבה, איז פונקט אזוי גרויס, און אין געוויסע הינזיכטן נאך גרעסער, ווי אפילו די אחריות און זכות פון איר מאן.
השם יתברך זאל באגליקן אייער ארבעט און בענטשן אייך און אייערע בני-בית שיחיו אין אלץ וואס מען נויטיגט זיך, בגשמיות וברוחניות, מתוך שמחה וטוב לב, אין א שטייגענדער מאס.

I send my greetings and blessings to all participants in this annual banquet. An undertaking by women—and for such an important purpose—deserves the greatest success. May the Alm-ghty help that your success be in every respect, both financially and spiritually.
This includes as well that the members of the Ladies Auxiliary themselves should properly appreciate their meaningful work and serve as an example and inspiration for others.
Since this event takes place before Rosh Chodesh Adar—the main point of which is Purim—it is worthwhile to recall again that although both Mordechai and Esther brought about the Divine salvation and miracle of Purim, nevertheless, the Megillah is called specifically by Esther’s name.
With this, Torah underscores the important role of a Jewish woman—not only regarding Purim itself but in all difficult and critical times, including our present era.
And although "Haman" in our time and country looks different than in Mordechai and Esther’s days, he is essentially still the same "Amalek," seeking to cool off and tear Jews away from Torah and mitzvos, wanting Jews to bow to his avodah zarah—to anything foreign to Jewish spirit and way of life.
The only way to combat Haman and today’s avodah zarah is through the old, well-trodden, reliable path that also nullified all decrees of Haman haRasha: strengthening education al taharas hakodesh (in purity), expanding yeshivos and Torah educational institutions with fear of Heaven—planting in Jewish children an unlimited love for Torah and mitzvos up to actual mesiras nefesh (self-sacrifice), as was done in Mordechai and Esther’s time in Shushan HaBirah.
Torah emphasizes—by naming the Megillah after Esther—that in all fateful times, responsibility (and along with it merit) for Jewish women is not "second-class," G‑d forbid; on the contrary—it is just as great or even greater than that of her husband in certain respects.
May Hashem Yisbarach grant success to your work and bless you and your families with everything you need materially and spiritually—with joy and gladness of heart—in ever-increasing measure.
