הנני לאשר קבלת מכתבן מיום ד' באלול, בקשת ברכה להצלחה בלימודיהן בקשר עם עליתן לכתה ח'. ואזכיר את כל אחת ואחת מהן על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע למילוי משאלות לבבן לטובה ולברכה.
אף שברכת ה' היא תעשיר ואין עשיר אלא עשיר בנכסים רוחניים, אבל הרי אמרו חכמינו ז"ל בכגון זה יגעת ומצאת, שהדיוק בזה והא ומצאת (שלא נאמר "והשגת" או "ונזכרת"), זאת אומרת שההצלחה היא שלא בערך להיגיעה, וזהו משום שהובטחנו הבא לטהר מסייעין אותו.
ולקראת השנה החדשה, שנת השבע שנת השמיטה, הבאה עלינו וכל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני שולח לכל אחת מהן ולכל בני משפחתן ברכתי, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Wednesday, Elul 4th, requesting a blessing for success in your studies as you move up to eighth grade. I will mention each and every one of you at the resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may the memory of the righteous be a blessing), for the fulfillment of your heart's wishes for good and for blessing.
Although it is written that "the blessing of Hashem brings wealth," and true wealth is only wealth in spiritual possessions, our Sages have said regarding this: "If you have toiled and found," with emphasis on "found" (and not "achieved" or "remembered"). This means that the success is out of proportion to the effort invested. This is because we are assured: "One who comes to purify is assisted."
As we approach the new year—the seventh year, the Shemitah year—which is coming upon us and all Israel for good and for blessing, I send to each one of you and all your family members my blessing: may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year both materially and spiritually together.
