I acknowledge receipt of the two detailed reports from the 18th of Nissan. My response was delayed because I expected to add more after receiving my telegrams, even though they were sent before receiving the aforementioned reports.

Since I do not wish to delay my response further, I am writing regarding the content of the reports in order:

Regarding section A: The decision that there must be a single administration is correct—meaning the administration of the Lod Yeshiva will include representatives from the former Rishon LeZion Yeshiva administration.

Regarding section B: Separate representation externally—the emphasis here is on "externally," not "separate," as is clear from the wording of your report; this applies only to fundraising matters.

As for who will be these representatives and who will serve as acting director—they should propose candidates. The candidates mentioned in your report are approved: for yeshiva administration—Reb Yaakov Yosef Ras'kin and Reb Mendel Brok; for acting director—as until now—Reb M. Goldberg.

The fifth section is also approved: for now, no new people should be added to the yeshiva's administration or office for several reasons. The simplest reason is not to increase expenses but rather to dedicate all energy to increasing student numbers, continuing construction, planning and implementing fundraising for the Rishon LeZion branch as mentioned above.

Regarding the appendix to your report: support for the widow (may she live) of Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n (the founder and self-sacrificing director of this branch for many years), z"l—should be as is customary in Eretz HaKodesh and especially in Chabad institutions.

Regarding compensation due to a certain individual—I have no knowledge of this matter here; surely there is an established practice in yeshivas regarding such cases.

Regarding positions and housing for all—the letter above already states that now is not at all an appropriate time to hire new people etc. There is room for this only in connection with what was written above about fundraising and similar matters; then it is appropriate to seek people experienced in these areas who have already succeeded in them—as is customary in such cases.

Our Rebbeim—who are also presidents of Tomchei Temimim Yeshivas everywhere and at all times—stand on high and arouse great mercy for these institutions' success both quantitatively and qualitatively. May they draw down blessing and success upon the Achai Temimim branch in Rishon LeZion within the framework of the central yeshiva in Eretz HaKodesh.

Fortunate are all members of Anash locally and everywhere who assist as much as possible—with joy and gladness of heart, with closeness among hearts—as explained at length in Kuntres Heichaltzu by our Rebbe Rashab and our Rebbe Rayatz (in his additions there), founders and directors of these yeshivas. May they be blessed with all good—and measure for measure many times over—to derive much true chassidic nachas from all their descendants—sons and daughters alike—in accordance with Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva plans and Beis Rivkah institutions.
