I acknowledge receipt of your letters from the 4th, 16th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th of Menachem Av with their enclosures. Thank you very much for the good news that you are seeing success in your work and feel that the blessing of our Nasi—after whom the institutions are named—rests upon you and brings blessing and success. May Hashem continue this in the coming days as our Sages rule: "We ascend in holiness."

I await good news soon about the positive conclusion regarding the payments you are to receive from the institutions mentioned in your letter, as well as progress on the proposal to establish a school near Haifa.

Some time ago siddurim and our books were sent to Haramo"s vavac"h iy"a nu"n Moreinu HaRav Yehuda Shemtokin. They are now being written to deliver a certain number of siddurim and our books for the needs of the network according to your request in your letter.

I was alarmed to read in your letter about the resignation of vavac"h iy"a nu"a Moreinu...sh... from his position, as well as his father from his assistance. My concern is not that support will be lacking for the network—for I am assured by my revered father-in-law Admor that this will be filled—but it is well known the saying and explanation of my revered Admor Maharash on the verse "Relief and deliverance will arise from another place but you and your father's house will lose this merit..."

I was pleased by what you wrote about using two signatures on checks—as our Sages say regarding tzedakah that it should be done by two people.

Certainly you will remain connected with Haraha"g vaharaha"ch etc. Moreinu HaRav Yisrael Abuhatzeira, because aside from requesting a letter from him he has influence among Sephardic circles... Certainly mutual closeness will bring benefit.

It is good and necessary to organize all teachers connected with us so they begin studies not on 25 Tishrei—the official start date—but earlier as needed. They should recruit the best teachers who have been with them until now as well as those among Anash needed for work in the network. Now that last year's debts have been paid off (5713), surely teachers in 5714 will receive their salaries—and certainly under better conditions than before. As per your request I also sent my opinion by telegram: "Beginning studies in network institutions in Elul is very appropriate; I am confident that teachers from Anash will mobilize themselves for this plan as needed; their salaries are assured. Awaiting good news. My signature."

With blessings for success in your holy work beyond nature's limits—and surely you will also utilize these days of year 5713 which was a year of success in places where at least practical action began—and with blessings for all of them and their families.
