זיכער וועט דער חג הסיום שטיין אונטערן איינדרוק פון דעם 200'טען יארטאג פון דער הסתלקות-הילולא פון מורנו הבעל שם טוב זכרונו לברכה, וואס איז פארגעקומען דעם ערשטן טאג שבועות, זמן מתן תורתנו.
דער בעל שם טוב ז"ל האט געפאדערט - און אין עניני תורה איז דאך א פאדערונג אויך א נתינת-כח, א ספעציעלער כוח דורכצופירען די פאדערונג - מקיים צו זיין תורה ומצוות מיט שמחה דוקא, און צו פארבינדן אהבת השם מיט אהבת ישראל דורך אהבת התורה. דערפון איז פארשטאנדיק ווי גרויס עס דארף זיין אהבת התורה, וואס איז דער מיטל-פונקט און פארבינדונגס-קראפט פון די אנדערע צוויי, אזוי אז דורכדעם ווערט דערגרייכט די העכסטע מדריגה אין עבודת ה' בשמחה ובטוב לבב.
השם יתברך זאל אייך אלעמען און יעדן בפרט מצליח זיין צו שטייגן אין לימוד התורה וקיום המצוות, ווי אויבנדערמאנט, דורכגעדרונגען מיט דער ליכטיקייט און ווארימקייט און לעבעדיקייט פון תורת החסידות.

I was pleased to receive the news about this graduation celebration (graduation), although, obviously, a completion in Torah is always connected with a beginning and a transition from one level to a higher one. I hope this will be so for all the graduating students.
It is certainly unnecessary to elaborate on this matter for students of the Lubavitcher Yeshiva. Surely this graduation celebration will be held under the impression of the 200th yahrzeit of our teacher, the Baal Shem Tov of blessed memory, which occurred on the first day of Shavuot, the time of the giving of our Torah.
The Baal Shem Tov z"l demanded—and in matters of Torah a demand is also an empowerment, a special strength to fulfill that demand—that one should fulfill Torah and mitzvos specifically with joy and connect love of Hashem with love of Israel through love of Torah.
From this it is understood how great love for Torah must be—it is the central point and connecting force between the other two—so that through this one attains the highest level in serving Hashem with joy and gladness of heart.
May Hashem Yisborach grant you all—and each individually—success in advancing in Torah study and mitzvah observance as mentioned above, permeated with the light, warmth, and vitality of Toras HaChassidus.
With blessings for success both materially and spiritually together.
